  • Loved the video, Tony! The sound of rain hitting the tarp is one of my favorite sounds ever. You're so right about the world's current status...chaotic and crap. I'm a part time van lifer and while traveling I get to talk with people on the road and living in conventional homes. People are not happy with rising prices, especially for gas and food. We are all struggling. My biggest heartbreak are seeing ore and more people losing their homes and being forced to live in their vehicles. It's no wonder vans, Class B and Class A vehicles, travel trailers and others are becoming full time homes on wheels. I've seen children sleeping in rear seats of cars while parents sit upright asleep in front seats and they are homeless. Our politicians slowly take away benefits to line their pockets. It's wrong and it has to stop. Our respective governments need restructuring for any chance for us to see any improvement. That will never happen!

    • This was a nice setup. I enjoyed your views of the area which is why we all go into the wilderness. I learned tarp adjustment after snow and heavy laden branches overhang. I loved the spot you chose. Felt like a hideout - with a view. Brucie has become much more of a companion as he’s aged. I like that. He enjoys his adventures but returns to cover and you. You have acquired all the right gear to sustain whatever nature hands you.

    • Hello tony and Bruce. listening to your rain is making me very cold. we have had lots of rain here in Arkansas and it has been cold for about two days and hearing your rain is freezing me. I can see where your wrapped up pretty good but you still look cold. That rain is still persistent ,just won't let up . I'm visiting my great granddaughter this week and her dad likes the air conditioner at 64 and you just freeze . you have to have lots of blankets on the bed. I wouldn't be able to camp out like you do . Just got thru watching c-west camping. I know you two are buddies. You better wrap up good when you go to bed for the night. I enjoy your videos. I like watching them. Thanks for sharing.

  • This is a BEAUTIFUL camping trip video. Cheers to you Tony and the most loyal 'Brucie'and his Friendly Robin friend (which seemed to be saying, "So Long", as you two were leaving the campsite ) So sorry for Bruce's passing. It honestly broke my heart and I had to stop watching. Last night, I rolled into this video again, and watched it again today. To you and your Family, I say what a very special friend you had in 'Brucie'. It is a pleasure to know of your blessed friendship and wonderful camping adventures. Watching your videos helped me thru a terrible time. To see the truest form of a Man and his Best friend, mutually exploring what seems to be a familiar favorite treks; touched my aching soul. Thank you for your frank and candid conversations. I encourage you to take a look back at 03:18:44-53. What a BEAUTIFUL LIFE you've made for so many in doing what you do Tony. Cherish those lovely memories and thanks again to you and your Family for sharing. 🌎🏔🏞💖 Sending Best from 🌻Tejas ! Lena💫

So I do understand why earlier on folks wanted close ups. It may be easier when you cook on the back of your truck. Keep up the great work. This morning (Sunday) I was so happy to see you posted another video. You again gave me a new insight. I will now not dread winter, but see the beauty in it. • What a wonderful camping trip! Thanks for doing all the "GRIM" work for us! We haven't finished watching yet, we both fell asleep--we just had a horrific storm go through Ottawa, and some 1000 odd poles came down, and we had to go through AB camping withdrawal--horrid we missed you so much!! Only got power back on after 48 hours, but we're so lucky to have it now--we certainly have a new appreciation for electrical power! So lovely to see you, Tony, with Brucie on the "TOPS" We'll try to finish watching tonight! God Bless you both, and you and your family! Love and Hugs from Dawn Lynn and Larry in Ottawa Canada!

  • Hey Bruce and Tony! I enjoyed this video! Particularly the part where you are heading back to your car from camping. The view was scenic and spectacular! All white, fairytale, narnia like and all!! Hope you keep up with what you do. All chill and relax reminding us that from time to time we need to disconnect, connect with nature, regain and recharge, then back again to our daily lives. Bruce is a real therapeutic companion!! 🐶

  • Tony & Bruce Thank you so much for this trip , one of my favourites so far. I’m loving the snow as here in Ireland we have warm light rain today and even in winter we don’t usually get snow and while I’m looking at that snow I’m thinking ….Ireland would be at a standstill by now and there are you guys CAMPING and living large!! Keep enjoying your time together and keep sharing with us. Wishing you both very best…….. and Anne and Brandon too ☘️

  • Thanks Tony & Bruce for a brilliant video. I’ve literally only just started watching your videos today and I’m really enjoying them. I’m a bit of a captive audience atm as I’m recovering from just having rotator cuff surgery and your videos have really brightened my day up. Many thanks and I’m looking forward to watching the next one from you. All the best

  • I think this is my favourite video so far (and I’ve been watching for a while now). I’ve never seen snow ❄️ so this was AMAZINGLY enchanting and beautiful. Great camp setup too. I’d love to do this. The setup costs of quality gear are eye watering expensive. I’m quite small and really suffer in the cold so would probably freeze to death without the high tech gear. Then of course have to get MUCH stronger and fitter to carry it all the distance to reach such amazing places. So until I achieve all that, thank you for taking us along with you on all these adventures 👍🏼💓 !!!

  • Wilderness camping or camping from your vehicle, it matters not. We’ve done both in Alaska. What’s best is that you inspire and teach others how to survive, where to find water, how to stay warm, and you’re doing that nicely. It’s nice you have little wildlife that might invade your camp at night. I love the snow too! We used wools in Alaska but it’s heavy. With hiking for 3 hours, you want to pack lightly. Love that you used the tarp for shelter we often put one under the tent as well but your circumstance is different. Thank you
