  • He’s so under appreciated it’s crazy. People forget how good he was as a playmaker. People just think he scored goals but he did a lot more. Tactically underrated too. Scholes controlled the game better, gerrard was more of a driving force but eradical, and lampard was overall the most dependable and efficient. Always comes up with a goal or assist. And tactically played smart on both ends

  • Lampard was a better passer than KDB imo. Hate arguing with nowadays kids who say he was only about goals. His passing range was as good as anyone's. From recent players Kroos kinds reminds me of Lampard, except Lampard was much more mobile, physical, used to cover much more of the pitch, and obviously joined the attack more. Saying he was only about goals and work rate is one of the biggest lies that keeos on spreading nowadays. He was a complete midfielder. A powerhouse. One of the most intelligent players I've ever seen.

  • Here is a hot take, if gerrard lampard and scholes didnt win their champions league, then xavi and iniesta would be top 3. But since Pirlo, zidane also have champions league in that decade, then the rankings is debatable. Ability and talent is pirlo, wins you games, zidane. But here is the hot take, xavi and iniesta were bench warmers during rijkaard era, in their peak age, what does that tell you? No clubs approached to buy them, What does that tell you? They were great during pep reign but know this, in that timeframe, sneijder humiliated them, lampard exposed them, and schweinsteiger picked them apart, you can have xavi and iniesta in top 10, never in top 3. When pirlo and zidane was playing, where were they, they develop late, they were never a star to begin with. Look at schweinsteiger, he copied them and he became great also, pass machine. Scholes didnt start in the 1st and 2nd final, if he did, the tide of the game might turned. If lampard could do ramires twice to set up a goal, then scholes would too. Difference? Look at the game, chelsea played wide wingers, ronaldo can get the job done as well like ramires.

    • Lampard created more chances and has more assists, Lampard could create a chance for you even if you were 2 ft away from him, he could create space with his slow galloping movement and find space too with one look up. Scholes was a sharpshooter no doubt, but Lampard could hold his own too, at both ends of passing.
