Daimoku - Nam myoho renge kyo - 15 minutes

Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō is a mantra that is chanted as the central practice of all forms of Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism. Myōhō Renge Kyō being the Japanese title of the Lotus Sūtra. The mantra is referred to as daimoku or, in honorific form, o-daimoku. The purpose of chanting daimoku is to attain perfect and complete awakening.
The seven characters na-mu-myō-hō-ren-ge-kyō are written down the centre of the gohonzon, the mandala venerated by most Nichiren Buddhists. The veneration towards the mandala is understood by those who believe in it as the veneration for a deeper representation, which they believe to be the Buddha Nature inherent to their own lives.

  • I started chanting this diligently when I was waiting for my job appointment in August. I was meditating when Buddha told me that I will have my job on 22. August 22 had passed but I didn't receive any messages. Then the next day, I received an email for my job appointment. The date on the document is August 22.   • Nam Myoho Renge Kyo is a powerful mantra. Over 25 years ago I was introduced to it by my daughter. My family was in turmoil and I really didn't know what to do. She came and asked me to try it, and I did. It took a while, but things began to change in my life and the life of my children. I know it was because of this mantra because I tried many other things, nothing worked. I'm not saying this is magic. But I am saying is that this worked for me. I still chant and will always give praise to this universal sound that sored into the heavens that saved my life. Peace to you all.

  • Im Louise from Australia. I was very very blessed to meet the Dalai Lama in Sydney, at the hospital i worked at. I hid in a storeroom and came out as he was approaching. He came over, held my hands in his and blessed me in Tibetan. I cried. He was such a aura of happiness, i remember thinking ive never seen eyes smile like his. Needless to say after our meeting, the security nearly had a fit, i outwitted all the men in black. I still kept my job too.😊😊❤❤

If you go on chanting, you should find their hold on you weakening. It is difficult to say how fast, but things have to and do improve.   • Everyone instead of asking people to pray for you the best method is to chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo yourself. IT doesn't have to be fast even a slower rythem and you will tap into your own Buddah natuture.When you do this you will know feeling more energy and a sence of inner happiness. As a result the things in your life you chant for will change and you can have many benefits both conspicuous and inconspicuous. The challenge is the self discipline to actually chant either 15,30 mins or an hour a day.

Sometimes as we chant we might think only one course of action is the one to take to reach a goal but many times the benefits we get from chanting can come from a solution we never thought of.Really the problems in our environment is our karma and by elevating our buddah life condition through chanting the environment responds to our inner change as we bring forth our best nature our buddah nature that we all have in us. A natural strong optimistic feeling comes forth as we tackle our day bring st the right place at the right time being in harmony with the environment gaining small benefits and long term ones.Chant 20 to 30 minute then take action and your efforts will seem to bring forth benefits. Plus the confidence and added energy that "Yes I can win today"

  • Anyone is reading i humbling request you please pray for my partner she lost her father due to cancer please pray for her good fortune as well as her family's too. Please anyone please please pray for her. Even i am not in touch with her due to some personal issues but again i don't want anything bad happens with her and with her family.
