    • Chimaev hasn’t proved himself in the top top tier yet but he does have something in him that 99% of people don’t have. He really enjoys dominating and competing and it’s all natural and fun to him. Hard to beat someone that loves to run into the fire and see what you’re made of.

Conor may not be smart in many ways but he's a gifted speaker and extremely charismatic which is what made him into the biggest UFC star. This dude doesn't have the speaking skills of a Conor but he used the template that Khabib laid out (mystique, undefeated, smesh) and used it to market himself. That's smart. Guess what Islam is always with Khabib and he didn't even do that infact Khabib himself didn't talk like that until he was champ and was still more humble than this dude. Khamzat knows what sells.

If you pay close enough attention you can tell his English is fine too. He doesn't look puzzled even when reporters speak fast. If anything he's probably underselling his English because guess what that sets you apart from everyone else makes you unique keeps the mystique. I'd say he's pretty smart..
