  • I still can't get over the death of Naomi Judd even though she's been gone two years now. What's even sadder is the fact that she took her life the day before the Judds' induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame

    • She must have been really struggling mentally. She had already written a note saying she did not want Wynona to attend her funeral. If that was the case, she chose specifically not to attend their induction and chose her time to commit suicide. It was cruelty towards both her daughters, because she also begged Ashley to stay with her. I don’t know if she was intention cruel towards her daughters, or if it was the disease. Suicide is the most selfish death you can give to your family, unless you are terminally ill.

  • I am so sorry to learn of the death of Sonja Christopher. She and I were in a local stage production of “Follies” back in the late 1980’s. She was Solange and did a fabulous rendition of “Ah, Paris!” in the same scene with me. Her sister Gretchen is one of the singers in the 1950’s group “The Fleetwoods,” known for their big hit “Mr. Blue”. Later, we would meet on occasion and do volunteer performances at local memory care units and skilled nursing facilities, singing the old tunes for the residents as Sonja wailed on her uke. I was tickled to see she was on the first ever episode of “Survivor.” Even though she was the first off the island, I was so proud of her for doing that show. Like me, she was a breast cancer survivor. We lost touch over the years, and I eventually moved out of state. May your lovely and sweet soul forever rest in peace, dearest. You were a true warrior and the epitome of a theatrical trooper. 💞🌹🌹

A couple of years later in The Godfather Part II, Bruno played Clemenza, which was the younger version of the character played in the original 1972 movie by...Richard Castellano. • As this is the final episode for the month of April 2024, I'd like to mention the passing of my friend Michael who died on April 10th at the age of 57. He wasn't a celebrity or a politician or even a veteran, but he was a man with a very kind heart and that should count for something in this world. We thank you for who you were, Michael, and we miss you every day.

  • Even though I didn't know him personally, I knew the recordings of Duane Eddy. He is one of the artists that made me want to play guitar, which I still do. RIP

  • There aren’t enough people dying, gotta post old obituaries too? Not sure whether to laugh or cry, that’s so surreal. But yours is still a good channel😊

  • Was looking at the death anniversaries and I thought for sure James Brown had passed on Christmas Day. My heart breaks for the the murdered police officers killed by thugs.

  • It kind of shocking some time to find out who actually passed because it must have slip past and I did not hear about it on the media. Thanks for making your mark here on Earth. I really appreciate these videos because it keeps me updated on those we have lost. Rest in Peace and prayer for those that are grieving your loss. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.
