It occurred to me that the outer pylons on air-to-air missiles are snap-on - you launch the missile and the pylon snaps into the wing. Click - and we have the original radar reflection back! Well, isn't that a great solution?
... those external hangers for missiles, most likely air-to-air, why are they there? Then all radar masking effect is gone .. !? This is a desperate solution! Gripen E is better.
The Saab JAS 39 Gripen can be compared to the F-16, not the F-35.
@@adriancc4240 I see there are 6 hours between us. Anyway, I expected more of a reaction to those unmasking extensions on the wings; the mention of Gripen was just a slight nudge ... the company's official website does not say anything about the F-35s (and probably won't, right?). It all looks like an emergency solution.
@@adriancc4240 I meant the ratio - price / performance. Not the software that the F 35 is equipped with. After all, it doesn't even have an on-board machine gun / cannon... maybe it will to throw curses at Chinese planes?! God, the Google translator is terrible!
