Thelastninja 03 be careful to praise the ride or you’ll summon Light Can to talk about how the ride is terrible and doesn’t make sense because Kylo Ren doesn’t have red cracks on it and that the windows at 15:15 don’t make sense because the lasers are apparently firing through glass.

This is not a ride. This is an experience. It really feels like your stepping into the movies and just the level of immersion and detail that goes into all of it is just fan-fucking-tastic.

I literally felt like I was apart of the movies when I was there a week ago. I was blown away. We did twice lol just just brought food the second time for the line wait 2hrs was short for us when we were there

On this ride my brother asked “can I press these buttons?” in the first order ship and the guy said “do they move when you press them?” to which my brother replied “no” and the guy said “then they’re not buttons” lololol my brother got roasted.
I was already touching them and he told me “Is there a reason you are touching the ship?” I said “Yeah” he said “Please Share” I said “I wanna go home.” He said “well do you know what those are?” I asked “Bombs?” He said “Lights. Just Lights.”

Going to Disneyworld is on my Bucket List, also Going to Universal Studios too, For Starters at Disneyworld, The First Thing that I would do is, Get Settled Into My Hotel Room, Then The First Place That I would Hit Is The Magic Kingdom, Go on Some of the Rides, and Meet My Favorite Disney Characters, Next I would go on a Sky Flyer, and Go To Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would go on the rides there, and Built My Own Droid, It would be a R-2 Unit, Because They're AWESOME, It would have a White Body, White Legs, Red Dome Head, White and Blue Accessories, and It'll have a Resistance Chip, and It's Name would Be, R-3 D-3 "A.K.A (Also Known As, In Case You're Wondering what A.K.A stands for) Max", Then I would do some Shopping, and Meet Some more Disney Characters, Then At Universal Studios, I would Just Go Wild, I Would Go To The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, and I would get my Very Own Pygmy Puff, and I would Name It Duke, I Would Go On The Rides At Universal Studios Too, And I Forgot To Mention At Disneyworld I Would Also Go To Epcot, and Go To Every Part Of Disney World Showcase, and Try all of the Foods There, and Do Some Shopping There Too, And I also forgot to Mention that I would get the Backpack so I can Carry R-3 D-3 "Max" on my back like a Baby, Instead of Carrying It In The Box, Because It'll Save a lot of trees.
Say what you will about Disney, but this is one of the best rides I've ever seen.

I thought you couldn't get much better than Avatar's Flight of Passage as far as effects, but I was sooooo wrong!

@@Business_News That's really just a nitpick, in fact the two comments I have seen from you including this one are nitpicks. TFA is the highest grossing Star Wars movie worldwide which means that most people would remember Kylo Ren without the red cracks on his mask and Rey in her Jakku outfit.

I got on this ride without knowing anything about it or what it’s gonna be like. Then when you went in the first ship I just kept thinking wow this is pretty cool the lighting and immersion is pretty good... then those doors opened.. and everyone in the ship including me starting screaming with joy and awe

@Cameron Pangborn oh 100 percent. I went for the first time on August 1st and was so hype when everything happened. Going in blind is the best thing you can do for this ride ☺️. (I watched this vid after I went)

I’ll never forget this, the first time I rode this ride I was wearing a Mandalorian t shirt and one of the imperial officers walked up to me when we were all standing still and he said to me “you’re with the Mandalorian?” and I said “why yes sir, I am” and he rolled his eyes and started to walk away from me and as he was walking away I said “this is the way” and he then turned around proceeded to roll his eyes again at me and then officially walked away from me lmfao.. This ride was so damn good, they executed everything perfectly.

Exactly. This is how waiting in line for more than an hour really pays off. The cast makes you believe you actually have skin in the game Plus it's the best lit indoor thrill ride I've ever seen. Every detail is right there in front of you.

After watching this video, I told myself that, when I ride the ride, I would say to the First Order officers, "I'll never talk!" And I did, 3 times to 3 different officers, and I got 3 different responses. The best response was he looked at me with this creepy stare and said, "You won't have to."
LOL my son plays one of the First Order Officers at WDW. Or did until the virus. Hopefully he gets hired back!!

@@patrickmuhlbeyer9262 This! A motion simulator that drops, using essentially the same tech as Tower of Terror. And you feel it too... your belly does a flip flop. It's incredible.
it’s so cool how the car enters an elevator disguised as a separate room right before the drop and motion simulator.
Fun fact, it's based on the same drop stuff from Tower of Terror
Believe it or not, not even HD footage of this really does the attraction justice. Everything looms so much larger in person. And so much is happening all around you. But this is a really good video to give you an idea of it.
this ride was really amazing
The actors do such a good job impersonating their characters, especially the people playing the first order officers, they're so in character and when they open the doors to your ship they say "this ship is now under control of the first order" and whilst everyone is taking photos, at some point the officers say "once you are done mocking at the might of the first order proceed to your left to you interigation. This is a must do ride!

When I rode this attraction just this past Wednesday, I quipped towards the First Order lieutenant that "You'll have to kill me before I reveal the location of the Resistance base!" She then snapped back "That can be arranged."

@@NewtypeCommander I rode on Wednesday the 11th, and I think I stumped one. She asked "how many are you?" and I laughed and said "I'm not telling you ANYTHING, First Order scum." She just looked at me and repeated "How many are you?" in exactly the same tone of voice as if to say "I've been doing this all day and I can't be bothered with your larping." Kinda disappointing, as I expected a ready comeback like you got. Oh well, still a great ride.

when i went on this ride, i has on ripped jeans and when they lined us up and we faced front, one of the officers went “you need new pants” and everyone laughed, including me. i love the actors bro they’re great
My little sister was acting crazy and one of the officers said ”you know this isn’t funny right? You are going into a holding cell.” Then another officer walked by and she said to the officer “you look more ridiculous than her!” We all laughed at it. The actors are sooooo cool!!!

One of the people in our group had a Celebration pin. The actor said "oh you're celebrating?" and when the person said yes he said "I'm glad we could ruin it"
When we ride today, the officer asked my wife “how many in your group?”. My wife gave the answer wrong. The officer said:”don’t … make…mistake…again.” He then kept asking her how many of us. Everyone was laughing. This is not just a ride, this is a show. The next generation of ride show.
The officer for our group was asking how many for the person behind us and he replied he was a single rider. The officer then asked “do you have any relation to Han Solo?” All of the actors for these rides are so much fun to interact with

Do you remember the Alien ride? The one that used to be in Tomorrowland. That was a "ride show."
I remember riding this ride and as we waited to get into the interrogation room, a group of young adults were walking down the hall chanting,"Space prison! Space prison!" As they were following an officer and honestly was the funniest thing I saw.

actually the only way you can get on is if you make a reservation so they can avoid this from happening!
At 7am and 12noon, you go into the app and try to sign up. Spots are gone in about 3 seconds, so you need quick fingers and a good phone network. Most people don’t get it. But I did so I was lucky. Then when it was my group’s time to go (about 6 hours later), we waited in line for about 30 minutes and we were on the “ride”. So the time commitment is about 30:03 for arguably the best all-around theme park ride ever made.
When you enter that stormtrooper room your mind is just BLOWN because of how cool the scene looks. 11/10 would ride atleast 10 more times

This is seriously such a game changer to rides. This really immerses people into the experience. Love em or hate em Disney really knows how to make spectacular rides.
Here’s what light can has to say about that. “But it’s actually really inaccurate and it breaks lore and the fact that Kylo Ren’s Helmet ruins the immersion and I’m going to focus on this one small minuscule detail on a ride that has tons of other good SFX and say that the imagineers are really lazy all because they didn’t include the red cracks on Kylo Ren’s helmet.” There did your work light can

I went there today and I have to say, they are intimidating. They are so into their role and really make you feel like you finna die. They never crack a smile. I was scared.
I would love to have this job. I get to be pissed off and be angry.
This experience makes Disney's purchase of the Star Wars franchise worthwhile. Some of the gear they were selling was total badass. Real looking light sabers that were heavy, and constructed to the size and specs you would expect them to be, and weigh.
Not to mention the little preshow with the "builder" made making the saber much more real to me epically when we picked the crystals and he went threw each color and I loved how much he ridiculed red

Everything about this ride is perfect. From the aesthetic to the character acting to the imagineering. It’s really incredible that this feels more like an experience than just a ride.
Such a shame that its based upon the trash sequel movies and not the original trilogy or the prequels but my goodness did they went all out on this on ride!
@@danielbaltodano2897idrc, its basically the empire vs the rebellion but reskinned. Literally the same ship designs and models. It feels the same. And march of the resistance IMO is way more fitting for this ride than the Rebellion’s theme.

@@PatoChu I do. So do plenty of others. It doesn't come purely out of disdain for the sequels. The OT and its music is just, more nostalgic. And the people who made this ride knew this, which is why they snuck in some OT music here and there. The sequel theming frankly pulls me out of the experience many times when I'm riding and I would want to see some OT theming

For someone who wasn't big on Star Wars, this ride was AWESOME. I will tell you, I was not expecting a lift or a drop. My little cousin was not expecting them either. She cried it out, poor thing. Besides that, I would recommend getting on this while you have the chance.
Honestly, no. It does come as a bit of a shock since you're not really expecting it, but that usually comes with rides like this!
@@marshellrobuste2772the drop isn’t that bad since you can kind of feel it coming a mile away, especially when you know that there is a drop. Basically, your vehicle locks into place on the track and that’s when you know. The lift is what shocked me. So smooth.

Went on this cold, not knowing a thing about it, and I couldn't believe what an experience it was, it's honestly the most brilliantly designed attraction I have ever seen. When you enter the transport, you honestly don't know if the ride is starting or not, and then the doors opening up and seeing that hanger... honestly one of the best prestiges in all of Disney, and it's before the ride even starts.
We saved this ride until the very end of the day (night). Cast members were getting antsy after a long day's work so they were extra snarky toward the guests and we played right along. An extra level of interactivity; glad we made it to Galaxy's Edge just before the park closed.
The first time riding when the same door you entered opens and you are inside the ship was easily the best 10 seconds I have ever spent in a theme park. Its mind blowing.
Every Star Destroyer has a full orchestra on board in the lower decks
They must have live music nights.
I mean... No one said the canteena was the only place that was possible.

Finally got to experience this. Is one of the very few rides that literally brought a couple of tears of joy to my almost 50-year-old eyes. Truly a magical experience, exceeded my sky-high expectations.

This has to be the most detailed and intensive Disneyland/world ride I have ever seen, they really put the money into making that as realistic an experience as possible. This would be the only reason I'd visit Galaxy's Edge since I don't get into merch that much. Also, those lucky employees who get to play First Order soldiers, how much fun would that be for a job?
It would be fun for a few days, maybe even a few weeks but trust me you would get bored and sick of it after a while.

I love how immersive the officers are. They clearly have done this quite a bit of times.
I went on this attraction the past week, for the first time. I had no spoilers & hadn’t seen any footage. As the ride was wrapping up, I began to cry. I couldn’t hold my emotions back. I love Disney World & theme parks. As much as I love the new attractions, I always know there’s a ceiling with the lights or cracks in the walls to reveal the illusion. This ride had nothing breaking the illusion. It changed reality for a few minutes, and truly made me feel like a kid again. The greatest attraction I have ever experienced.

I rode this ride for the very first time a couple weeks ago and this ride is phenomenal, the pure immersion that they put into this ride was incredible. You literally feel like you’re in Star Wars during every second of this ride, especially during the part where you get sucked into the first order star destroyer through the tractor beam. When you first step foot onto the star destroyer it honestly was one of the best feelings I’ve ever felt, I truly felt like I was in one of the movies. The cast members did such a great job acting like imperial crew members. I can’t wait to ride this ride again, 11/10 would recommend.
This is probably the best theme park ride in the world at the moment I must admit. It is everything I could have ever wanted from a scifi expirience

I went on this ride recently and I had no idea what it was, I’d thought it was a something like smugglers run but more interactive so image my surprise when the door opens and I’m greeted by a giant room and fifty stormtroopers, the fact it took me a while to comprehend where I was to where I boarded the ship says a lot about this ride

@@ExRev601 My guess is the people in uniform are real (duh!); maybe one or two troopers are either real or a projected movie; all the ones lined up are animatronic.
I went on this last week, was not expecting the drop. It also amazes me that the inside of the rebel transport ship moved to a different location without me feeling it (in case you didn’t know, you go out of the transport ship from the same entrance you came in).
Yup I still can’t get my mind around that it’s so crazy! And I couldn’t see where or how they would move it either!

I went into this ride two weeks ago and it’s definitely the most incredible ride I’ve ever seen. Everything is amazing! It really feels like you’re part of the Star Wars world

I rode this a couple of months ago with my family, (we’re all huge Star Wars nerds) and it absolutely blew my mind. My parents thought the ship at the beginning was the whole ride and were like “wow this is pretty cool!” And then we got captured and the doors opened and I think my dad had a stroke he was so shook and excited. The whole time he was like “I FEEL LIKE I JUST WALKED INTO THE MOVIE!!” “WEVE BEEN CAPTURED!!” He talked about the ride for weeks afterwards
I really want my step dad to get in this ride before he dies... He was there when the first Star wars movie came out as a kid and he's still a big old nerd

Haven’t been to Disney since 2018. This ride looks EPIC! If I ever go back to one of the Disney theme parks, I’ll definitely be riding this!

I think the problem is that both of his feet are firmply planted and close together. It'd look more natural if he seemed to actually lean/bend somewhat. Especially noticeable when the hole is blown out of the wall. Then he seems all stick-like.
Agreed but what you cant see in the video is a sudden huge rush of air when the hull breaches behind him - it was pretty awesome.
Fun fact He’s actually the re purposed animatronic of the wicked witch of the west. So his movements are very close to hers

The actors for the guards are so fun. I had my new lightsaber in the queue, and the officer in the hanger said something snooty like, “Mmm, a glow stick. How nice.” This shit is amazing.
Fun fact: Lieutenant Bek, the Mon Calamari who looks like Admiral Ackbar, is voiced by James Arnold Taylor. The same voice actor who plays Obi Wan Kenobi and other characters in the Clone Wars. :)

The way they synced everything to the music made the whole experience jaw-dropping epic. The pace, the rhythm, the tech, the story! I beg Universal to learn from this because we pay nearly the same for a one day ticket, but Disney is the king in theme park innovation. Awesome JOB!

I rode the ride I wasn’t standing directly on my marker and one of the employees said “ even simple idiots should understand to stand directly on their marker.” Then they eyed me. That sure was an experience.
This ride is absolutely on a different level. I’ve been going to theme parks my entire life and this shit is truly something special. The immersion is unreal.
From the POV alone this is one of the best rides I've ever seen. I used to go to Disneyland every year for my Birthday when I lived in California. So I'd like to ride this one if I got the chance.

My favorite part of this is the drop. Not only because I like feeling it, but because I LOVE seeing/hearing how many people notice the other pod dropping and put two and two together, and how many are surprised. My second time on the ride, I was sat next to a lady who had the BEST reactions to everything.

@@julio85019 I think the drop under the ball on Indy is decently comparable to the escape pod drop on Rise - just know that the flight after the Rise drop is actually motion simulated similarly to Star Tours as your pod flies down to the planet.

This is a great ride. I will say it is amazing that your entire party was super silent and just enjoying themselves throughout it! I had a party that was TOO LOUD and kind of ruined the experience for me. Really recommend you don’t act too loud when you’re on this ride as it’s really just a time to sit back and immerse yourself in it. Do it for the people next to you too!

Dude, there is just NO way this ride is real. I have never seen anything like it before: 1.) The cast members are almost like professional actors. It actually feels like talknig to an officer. 2.) The perfection of the location setting. 3.) The screens looking so real that it makes you wonder if that is a real person. As well as adding a shadow in order to make it feel more like they're really right there. 4.) That damn escape door. Like.....WHAT? 5.) The fact they were able to somehow make this ride a mix of tower of terror, a buzzlighter/toy story mania, and a motion ride. 6.) The Wilhelm scream

Went on this for the first time today. It is by far the best ride I’ve ever experienced and no wonder the virtual queue fills up in literally seconds.
So I got on this ride yesterday. I'm lost of words I dont even know what to say. I'm in shock, I could not believe what I experienced. This was amazing. The details from the walls to lights, etc.. even if you dont like star wars you would be amazed.

I just love how all those people stepped out of the ship into a bunch of Storm a troopers and started taking pictures lol.
I'm not a Star Wars fan like others, but this ride was abslutely amazing in every way. I loved how so many people were wearing their Star Wars T-shirts and other gear whilst awaiting to go on this. The gasp from everyone when we entered the room with all the storm troopers was something special. This was my first time at Disney theme parks and I was gobsmacked at the attention to detail. Definitely worth every cent of the high priced tickets. As stated by many others, Disney really know how to immerse you into a fantasy world and really delivery with these spectacular rides.
This is the best ride I ever rode in my whole entire life. It is just so realistic and fun. It’s not just a ride it’s an experience
