  • South Africas biggest advantage is their unity - no buy-ins, no careerists, no journeymen. The pride in the jersey is fanatical. They back themselves. And in the modern era, post apartheid they can draw on two of the toughest 'tribes' on earth - The Afrikaner and the Zulu both enjoying the power of unity and a symbol of what's possible in their country. The springboks carry the hopes and story of a nation. They always believe that anything is possible.

    • I have to give this man the best recognition possible as someone of courage. In that pool game, Jason was forced into contact on three occasions, each one had him looking for the worse as they went by. When he "pulled" his hamstring, watch as he gets the ball, already bloodied and bruised, sees three brutes running him down and decides life is worth living and halts for reinforcements. Now, the fact that he came back again after such a harrowing experience to play in the final says a lot about his character. Sure you lost that game, but you went back after such a thugging.

  • I’ve always had tremendous respect for Jason Robinson. What a player he was! So long as the rest of the world continue to attribute Springbok success mostly to our physicality we can keep winning. It prevents them from looking too closely at our tactical and strategic innovations which are just as important (one old example being our kicking game at RWC 2019).

The British have turned their game around over the last couple of years, now they must just learn to keep it consistent and then rugby will have another contender for top spot, how exciting will this be for world rugby. So far all of the British Isle teams have improved their games tremendously, making the game very exciting to watch. Although a Bok supporter through and through i love watching them have to work to win. I also love watching the Irish playing, so exciting, their hard and fast attacking and determined tackling, but Wales too played great determined rugby lately and others too showed promise for the future for the future of hard exciting rugby, viva world rugby 🏉 may it stay exciting.

Being direct in your approach might lead to a couple of egos being bruised. The Boks are probably the team that is the most gentlemanly and hardly ever provoke or looking for a fight. • Although my team is the Wallabies; I still love & respect the other awesome teams like: England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, All Blacks, Springboks, Argentina, ... especially the ones who are great at playing test Rugby. They're all so cool to watch, cos they're such great Rugby players.

  • its going to boil down to the fittest side , discipline and taking the opportunities and converting them to points . I think these teams are very evenly matched in most areas but I think we will the likes of Vermuelen today . Its going to be a great contest so let hope there are no silly red cards on either side .
