    • May I just say a certain thing about the cold/ice shower? Some people's bodies can go into shock. If you have a very neurologically sensitive body that just can't be changed due to certain chronic illnesses, it could really harm a person & their body. I think Dave Asprey recently gave a great alternative to the cold shower.. submerging your face in a bowl of cold/ice water. It serves the same purpose as a cold/ice shower. Yet won't shock bodies that are more neurologically challenged that could very much harm their body and put them in a worse state. (It isn't even about small adjusting to eventually colder water, sometimes it just is. I say this b/c I am more than sure comments may come back with, "well you just slowly adjust", nah..still doesn't matter.). I am not against it as it has worked for some yet there are very fragile bodies out there it could harm and make their body worse & cause severe harm. Other than that, I enjoy all you mentioned. LOVE all this information. :D

  • My mouth dropped when I realized Jim is 50 years old 😱 I thought he was in his 30s. On another note,you guys should really do an interview with Thais Gibson from The Personal Development School. She is certified psychologist and talks a lot about the mindset and methode dimensions. She has an incredible amount of information and concrete tools on how to reprogram our beliefs, core wounds etc. Thank you for this amazing video, it was incredibly informative and fun to watch 😊

  • I remember in elementary our teacher have us do some basic exercises similar to this. little did we know that it has something to do with brain development. studying different subjects in school will work different parts of the brain. that is why different subject is studied in school. after which you focus on the skill you want in college or K12.

  • I'm happy to have found my way to this video. Thank you for improving my performance Jim :) I'll come back to 39:48 tomorrow & answer by retreaval: " 1) I've learned that the three M's give change it's direction 2) I've learned how to START the memory process effectively: State (information + emotion = long term memories) Teach (this intention improves my understanding of a topic) Active / Attention (learning is an activity, not a passivity) Review / Retrieve / Repeat (increasing intervalls) Time (when do I need/use what I learn here?) 3) I've learned the 3 Stages of Memory: encode, store, retrieve "

    @vik98@vik98 Жыл бұрын
    • 1) The 3 M's can give the change in my life a positive direction. For that I need to continuosly work on my Mindset, have a clear Purpose (Motivation) & the Methods to actually progress. 2) I learned to START the memory-process effectively: State (all learning is state-dependent. That's why I should aim to be in an engaged state when consuming information) Teach (learning to teach someone else will drastically improve the way I take notes and think about concepts (remember Richard Fineman)) Active / Attention (Passive learning doesn't work. You might believe that a baby learns to speak by just listening, but the brain is active in trying to encode what is being said, thus making it an activity instead of a passivity) Review / Retrieve / Repeat (Using the "retrieval" function of your brain often will tell your brain, that this particular information is important. Consider that you don't have to repeat an info 1000 times in a row to learn it, but instead you can spread the repetition among increasing time-intervalls) Time (knowing when & how you will use information, will help your brain to store the information more effectively) 3) I learned the 3 steps of memory processing: encode, store & retrieve. Thanks again, this video obviously helped. I encoded, stored & successfully retrieved the informations :)

  • I practiced the brain yoga where we're turning our arms in different directions. I am able to do it from Mr Kwik's instructions (thank you very much!). Question: Is it still effective if I'm not thinking about the movements while I'm doing it? I ask because when I start thinking about it, my arms forget what they're doing!

  • Has anyone ever imagine what it would be like to 'raise your brain use' to reach 99.99% ?? Or is that even possible? Would accomplishing that means you are now a 'Super being'? Would that also opens a new consciousness and see this world as an 'enlightened being'? Anyone out there can even measure this? Or perhaps we may say I can now have a different conversation with my origin 'God/ Creator/ etc.'??

  • This starts out on the wrong foot. Mind / Body Interaction - needs to be free motion activity - not a group of idiot robots. Every ridiculous ‘so-called routine’ - gets in the way of higher levels of Intelligence. Staying in the same RUT - means doing the same thing every morning. Taking cold showers - so you feel better when you get out - is similar to banging your head against the wall - so it doesn’t hurt as bad when you stop. ‘So-called meditation’ and ‘so-called 6 phase’ - are Worthless. You Visualizing what you would like - does not make it happen. The Multiverse determining what to give a Person as a vision - in the Frontal Cortex - is what adds to a Person’s ability to have Premonitions. When he started talking about Hideous Lies of ‘so-called blessings’ I turned it off. People are going to have to Choose to get this clear - - or the Disasters will Escalate until this Planet is nearly Destroyed.
