  • I thank myself for never giving up even when it was very hard I kept pushing through until I made it out. My advice is that If you do your own investing, have you ever thought whether you should turn things over to a financial advisor? If you have significant assets, you have probably felt anxiety when making choices with your money. Perhaps you sensed that you might make better investing decisions if you knew just a little more and could invest without emotion. If this is the case, consulting a financial advisor makes perfect sense.

    • You’re right! Working with a financial advisor will genuinely set you up for success in life. I’m delighted I was able to hire a financial advisor named John Desmond Heppolette, earlier this year. Because while others were grumbling about the downturn in the markets due to the state of the economy, I was busy learning from him and eventually made over seven figures in the first quarter alone.

In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life, Successful people don't become that way overnight. most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. Believe me I was rarely scared the first time, I went into Combat, when I was 18 or 19 years old .I was never afraid of being injured or killed, I was only afraid I would freeze up or do something that would get my Squad mates hurt or killed, but once those first Rounds fly past your head, everything falls into place I suppose your training and pure survival instincts take over and the fear melts away, sometimes you just have to jump, into things or get thrown into them inorder to move past your Fears, I don't mean become a combat soldier, I just mean that you have too jump off the porch and get dirty in life

    @henryhybrid@henryhybrid2 жыл бұрын
    • In certain situations water becomes ice to accommodate the circumstances. And ice isn't soft. You fail to see that in the very same statement, you claim that one should be flexible and follow all ways, yet you exclude a specific way. A philosophy of water is that of harmony and adaptation. But if you truly want to be like water, you must inhabit whatever way that best suits your circumstances. Sometimes you need to be tough, sometimes you need to be soft. Sometimes brave, sometimes cowardly, sometimes strong, sometimes weak and so on. Judge each moment by itself. Inhabit what ever philosophy that best suits it. This is water. This is the Dao.

So while I'm not telling you I'm some big badass, because I also don't believe in that macho crap either, I definitely don't like being confused for some Gen Z kid who has never stepped foot outside the Bay Area or something. I know what real work is all about, and I still don't subscribe to that handshake bullshit. The reason you caught me up late at night right now is because I'm laid off due to the woods being too muddy, they don't let us tear up the ground and roads when it's muddy out. I'm actually looking for a different job because I'm tired of the long commutes associated with logging life.

    • Appreciate your comments from the Logger in Northern California. Americans have generally grown weaker emotionally, financially, socially, and physically. Where is best place or state to live in if you love rural life and eating wild game meats? I guess that could mean many several locations. Just asking.

    • @@rasmusverkehr4510 There are people who live with very little material wealth who are much more content and happy than people who feel compelled to go to meetings in a wheel chair with a drip bag. There are people who help others every day for very little income and are completely fulfilled. What fulfills you, I think is the first question to be asked. Many will say money/things, but when I look at the super wealthy, for the most part I see empty people who are trying to fill the void with money and stuff. This never satisfies, just leads to wanting more. Several people mentioned as 'heroes' in this video had abhorrent business practices that preyed on the poor and had devastating effects on the real economy of their fellow men. "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Addiction, always wanting more, is a bad thing. This presenter is addicted to money and ego. I'm not judging him and don't care what he wants, I'm just saying it's not for everyone and his measure of 'success' is not the same as everyone else's.
