This in a rally car would sound so authentic.
Definitely, especially with a turbo or centrifugal supercharger
It sounds awseomely brilliant as it is! In a Rally car it would Rock!! But I just Luuurve that 4x4 Crawler...F💥Bulous!
Has the sound to be a rally car!
only that neither of that would work on that engines. @@Sauci55on
a rally drift car
Okay so first, that tiny little engine sounds AMAZING with the exhaust on! Genuinely doesn't sound like such a small engine, could be a full size bike if you didn't see the video. Second, the gearing seems far nicer than your last 4wd RC build, looks great in action. And third, is there a kit around for a Morgan three-wheeler? Might still be a lot of custom work, but that v-twin would be PERFECT for one

sounds like a Hayabusa or a Yamaha r7
Man that thing sounds damn good, sounds like a motorcycle 👍
I love this lol
Thought exactly the same
@@seansamurai1981yeah bro me too
Hermoso
Sounds great and looks great. Expected a stupid sound, but this is music to my ears 💎👌🏻 man I want one 🤩
Love the NO MUSIC background and just the pure sounds of the work..
me too
And so rare these days on youtube

Probably one of the coolest RC cars I've seen in quite a while...what a project!
Yes indeed!
Excellent work on the 4x4, as always. It was sad to see the cameraman die at the end, but his sacrifice will not be forgotten.
That was the most realistic sounding exhaust on one of these engines I've heard. And it wasn't complicated, perfect 👌
That was absolutely awesome! Sounds just right! Would be fun to see some higher speed open road test.
Definitely
3rd gear full throttle in a wide open space and do a GPS run sure in first gear right above where clutch engages it is a nice rock crawler...but what is in last gear with pedal on the floor??how fast is it?...and..what about fitting an fpv camera on it??
@@dg9bfc that FPV would be sick!
Is it just me or does the clutch sometimes slip?
seems to be the case either clutch spring is weak or servo underpowered could also be clutch material not having enough grip and in that case a stronger servo or spring can only do so much before the clutch is burned through
Definitely, I couldn't imagine having to work a clutch on an rc crawler. Replacing the clutch with a cvt (like robot cantina's harbour freight engine powered Renault) would be great as you would still get the gears without roasting the clutch every few minutes. EDIT: I just watch the last video with the gearbox install. The friction material in the gearbox is definitely not up to task for the weight of the vehicle. Needs a much stronger servo.
Rubber clutch
Maybe he is controlling in half clutch to not stall
It’s not a clutch it’s really more like a tourque converter which is never truely 100% engaged
Your machining skills have improved, nice to see!
water pump not working well -- casually makes a new gear pump to fit the same space.
For the V twin, hear me out… Harley Now that’s not interesting at first, however… Figuring out a balancing and steering method is an interesting challenge. My initial thought is a flywheel acting as a gyroscope somewhere in either a rider figure or hidden somewhere else on the bike. Could be interesting as it comes with its unique engineering challenges.
there's an RC bike on the market that has a flywheel gyro, seems pretty stable but it's much smaller
@@user-ff2mu4fh4v losi promoto cool toy it's like $500 though
RC motorcycles are a thing, have been for about 20 years. Id be surprised if a Harley was much more difficult than an RC sport bike, but yah that was my first thought too. "V twins belong on motorcycles.". Lol. What'd be really epic is putting one of the mini v8s in this beastie, since a I4 is more suited to cars.
@@NeoIsrafil even longer than that, over 40 years!
I remember a kyosho one in the 90's, no idea how it worked though
Every boys dream since childhood😊
That just sounds so good !! Especially when it’s idling.
Yeah, that is awesome. I’ve been looking and waiting to see an actual scale application of one of those engines. You did a beautiful job. Truly inspiring, love your projects and content!
5:17 You are definitely a inspiration to change the game entirely 🙌 👏 🙏
Honestly been watching for years now and i still can’t figure out how you do some of this stuff its awesome and love to see all the cool stuff you post and the fact you use nitro instead of electric makes it even better
Hi 👋 Johnny. I’m watching your videos from the very beginning to the most current. Each and everyone one is amazing to me. Thank you 🙏 for starting this RC engine building adventure for us! We have learned so much about engines and how technology has advanced over the last decade or more. 😊❤
That sounds like it runs perfectly. I'm impressed.
I wanna see this in a straight line. Full throttle please :D
He probably isn't because it's geared for crawling. Honestly it's really cool.... I'd love to see it flat out too, but either way it's damn neat. 😊
I'll second that! Yeah we know its a 4x4 Crawler but Full Throttle Drag Strip style aint gonna hurt anyone!💨
Agreed. He needs to do something that actually shows off its power(other than reving it a million times), a quick straight line drag or full throttle up a steep hill. Kind of anti-climatic to see all this work go into such a cool build and then all you see is him slowly drive over some clumps of grass and a curb wooooo
I think the same thing about most of these videos, I've never seen him "let er' rip" B4........just slow and boring driving.
@@JoeMadds0 Reving a million times yup ha ha.
and spark plug engines are just SOOOOOOOOOO NICE like they just run you never have to wonder if it's gonna fire up today due to the moisture or whatever it just works!
This thing looks and sounds insane now! 🔥 great job👍🏼
I love how it sounds like a sports bike, offroads like a champ, and is still tiny and cute! IT'S SO CUTE!
Sounds awesome and looks amazing! This brought me a lot of joy 🙂
So far, it's one of the best channels about miniature engines and RC cars like this that I watch. I could honestly watch a whole hour video and it would never get boring, I wish the videos to be a bit longer, they kinda feel ...short? Otherwise keep up the great work!
Unbelievably cool build! Great work!
I absolutely love it. Great job. I’m sure it’s only gonna get better
Probably the best RC car I've ever seen...its got a real engine and gear box in it! How MegaT💥stic Is That?
😲Oh, it's so amazing. The sound of the engine. The sound of gears, I like it.
This is pretty badass!! Sounds like a 4 cilinder sportsbike lol. Amazing job! Love it!
Chainsow maybe 😊
I don’t care what anybody says… you build the absolute coolest stuff I’ve ever seen! If you had a class to teach this master craftsman stuff you pull off… I would gladly pay to make a RC of that caliber and actually take it home… wow! That would be amazing!!
Muito legal. Estava pesquisando sobre miniaturas de V8 e encontrei seu canal. Incrível o seu trabalho. Parabéns
Man you do amazing work! The sound is really scale. How about doing a 1/5th scale road car with a4 or 6cyl engine?
Really love seeing these things on this channel. Makes me giggle when I hear that little 4 cylinder revving like that. 😁
Awesome work. That pocket CNC is so cool! If you lengthen the top links for the rear axle you would help improve the driveshaft angle. Just like wedges under the leaf spring to get the pinion angled up to be more in line with the driveshaft/transfer case. I did that on my wraith to keep the rear axle from binding after adding some mods. I see no reason why it wouldn't work here. Also maybe a CV shaft instead? Sure it isn't as scale appearing but they usually can handle angles like this a bit better.
What an awesome machine, enjoyed the series. Thank you
Man, this is epic! Can't wait to see your on-road car project
Great job Sir! Your a true asset to this hobby!!
This sounds sooo good!! Well done! its like a real truck!!
That sound makes me so happy !!!
Now to fab up some lockers! Best build yet!
Wow I haven’t been here in a LONG TIME….and I come and see this masterpiece construction 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
that little engine sounds amazing
Man, that thing is very cool. Sounds fantastic too. I do love your work, always top notch.
The running video is great. Looking forward to the next one.
YOU DID SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB!!! I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!
Amazing ! Awesome job on this ! Best I’ve seen yet.
Sounds great, almost like a motorcycle.
That truck sounds looks great awesome build
The coolest thing iv seen in a while man. Great machine work
This has got to be one of the coolest jobs you could have
My god, this is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time.
Sounds so great. Like a 4 cylinder motorcycle
exactly i am amazed
That engine sounds SO GOOOD!
Would love to see a GoPro mounted inside some of the RCs you build to get a cool POV of the ride. Love the little engines though
The engine and the muffler sound a rotary engine… i loved!!! ❤️
Amazing creations on this channel. This is one of my favorite. 🙂
Dream rig for sure that hole setup is nuts
This could be an entire new class or RC and crawling. Amazing work.
Brilliant! So good looking, and very nice engine response. I have to admit though, I was a bit disappointed when the silencer came on 😂
You are one talented individual, I have enough trouble working on full size vehicles. 💪👍
Awesome video the skill level and attention to detail is amazing.
This thing is insane man your a mini mechanical master
i think that v2 would go great into a mini motorcycle or old race car getting back into watching your videos and i think they are amazing to watch keep up the good content
This kind of build should be the future of RC crawling.
Was hoping to see it run up and down the road to see the performance of the speed. But very nice! Im amazed at your skill of building the add ons.
THE SOUND
i would love to see this thing in deep mud, wide open trying to hit the next gear.
Sounds wonderful 👍
That build is COOL! love it! well done brother
shout out the the transmission job you did VERY well done sir!! beautiful engine sound really really awesome job!!!!!
The sound is my vavorite..❤
That is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time!
Sounds like my GSXR. 🤘👍
wow what a wicked little beast... way to go bro. love it.
you always impress with what you do and you seem to enjoy it. keep being awesome
this sounds so good
Beautiful work Johnny. May I suggest that you lower the suspension by using shock forks. It will help lower the center of gravity and prevent roll overs/ suspension roll. Stronger coils/shock oil may be needed. Let me know if I can directly help you in any way! Again, fantastic job I am extremely inspired by you & your creations!!!
That thing is fu**** sick!!!! Great work!
Sounds amazing.
The Sound is awesome
Sounds like a inline 4 bike engine! Ilove this sound
This is incredible. Wow
You're very talented, well done.
Your amazing I love it wish I done a fiter and turner apprenticeship when I was younger I still have a great job but making this in my spare tiem would be sweet.
Amazing J! Thanks for sharing
Sounds like a sport bike! But I suggest figuring out a stronger clutch. Since this one seemed to slip pretty bad
EXCELLENT WORK 😎 👍 SOUNDS GREAT
That's pretty cool, nice job as always!
Aw hell yea new JohnnyQ90 upload
Thing sounds like r1 sounds absolutely amazing
Sir you are a legend and but a god in my eyes love all your work
Engine sounds sooooo good
this is the kind of RC cars ive always dream of
Wow wow wow Maaan you Just Made a Masterpiece 🎉 Hats off to you brother Really Appreciated your dedication your hardwork and passion By the way That exhaust produce superb sound, even much much better than my car
Sounds so freaking amazing! ❤
This sounds awesome!
I'd absolutely LOVE to see an attempt at making, if there isn't one to buy or anything, a 2 speed transfer case for crawling with this thing! That'd be awesome!
Really a nice combination, excellent work.
We need to see the V8 installed in a Super Baja Rey!! This is super cool!
I would love to witness a car equipped with an engine like this go for 6 or 8 kilometers before encountering its first issue. Love your video!
