  • The father-son bonding in this episode was so precious🥹. Kratos wasn’t even mad that Artreus left, just glad he was safe and back home. And then the Garm to Fenrir change…you could see it in the eyes. This was a 10/10 wholesome episode! I love watching along w Cory playing so much💕

  • “Don’t be sorry father, be better” Every father, is always proud when his own kid (especially his son) teaches him a lesson, or uses his own lesson on him In fact, after I played this game, I kept one of the lessons, and while my dad and I were watching Lord of the Rings, we were discussing how the female elf that loved Aragorn shouldn’t care about losing him or any child they may have, how her father shouldn’t have kept the vision of a child a secret My dad tells me “He’s trying to spare her that grief” and I used the very lesson Faye gave Kratos as a response “The culmination of love is grief, and if you are grieving deeply, it means you were privileged enough to have loved fully, she shouldn’t close her heart to the world so that she can avoid pain, she should open her heart to it so she can experience pleasure” And then I look back at my dad on the couch, he’s smiling, and it’s not a goofy grin or stupid smile, it was a proud smile, proud that his son could still teach him something, more importantly, that despite everything I’ve been through, despite my doubts and my sadness and my fears, I’m still willing to give life a second chance

This dialogue implies that Odin knows that Atreus has a new home is, which is Sindri's home located in the Realm Between Realms. Odin can't access the Realm Between Realms by himself nor can he send his ravens into it. Fortunately for him, Kratos and Atreus took Odin, who was disguised as Tyr, to the Realm Between Realms and to SIndri's Home, and that is how he knew Atreus had a new home.
