Silva has a few wobbly games and he’s never seen again. He was my favourite player last season, single handed carried us in a lot of games and he will be gone by the end of it. He deserves a good send off not rotting on the bench

Hate to say it but James wouldn’t be a bad sale for 60m +. We have gusto and he literally has barely played the last two years. Idk we’d need a back up for gusto but I’m not stressing bout a guy who hasn’t played a full game in 2 years going to a new club for 60 mil. He’s also on high wages

Not that I want James to be ever sold but your emotions aside, if you’re a business owner would you continuously £250k a week to a player who is only available less than a 3rd of the season? And before you say we have an injury crisis because of Poch, this case is different. James has had these injuries long before Poch and the new ownership.

Don’t think we should give credence to every “report” that comes out. It took all of a minute for the team to brief Ben Jacobs to straighten it out. We are all just frustrated. But the issue is, for us fans every week feels like a year. Sadly, we are expecting the club to make major changes week to week and that just isn’t possible. Nor should a club operate like that. I think I’m more tired of the ridiculous takes I’m hearing from Chelsea fans at this point versus what we are seeing on the pitch. We will have to see what they do in the summer.

So much to agree with here. Reece should stay but not necessarily at RB. But but but, we are stuck with Poch for the coming year or we are just starting again. Really need someone in the coaching staff for whom losing leads/games is unacceptable and the players respect / fear enough to just do it.

Firstly I’ve gotta say I love the channel, the chemistry u 2 lads have is infectious! It’s like watching vintage top gear. Unfortunately we seem to have a gun to our head and have to make these decisions because our idiot owners have wasted several hundred million pounds on average players. It’s a can of worms isn’t it… we clearly have a problem with our medical staff… how comes our players are injured all the time but go abroad and their isn’t any issues? I get maybe Poch is running some of them to death but this has been going on for a while now. Ideal world we don’t sell any of those 3 players… but because of previously mentioned problems we have to swing the axe and it’s gonna have to be Chilwell and Gallagher… however don’t be surprised if all 3 of them get the axe. They want players locked down on long term contracts where they get paid roughly £100k a week with incentive's…. If that’s the case then to fit the current model all 3 will have to go! Gallagher won’t sign. Chilwell and James are on older pay structure deals as is Sterling, Kepa and Lukaku.
If they sell Reece James to another club he will get fit and be the best right back in the world. Another massive mistake if they do it.

Yeah, I can tell why rivals say we overrate our players. Melting for Mudrik when he has had only seconds of brilliance that ends on missing balls or horrible passes, 100 Million for Reece who has a HORRIBLE injury records, trying to keep Gallagher just because he loves Chelsea when he's not good enough, Enzo would be fine if he costed 30 or 40 but we payed a Post-World Cup Winner inflation price.

Dunno why fans are freaking out over selling Reece James. They should be worried about the clueless director that hires a mediocre manager for this club.
We sold Mount, Odoi, Tomori, Guéhi, Abraham these last few years. And the only position we made an in improvement on is Palmer instead of out graduate Odoi. Abraham as striker was more of a success than anybody since and I think Tomori and Guéhi could have formed a great cb partnership with Silva guiding them. instead of using our homegrown brats we spent a billion on outgrown brats who are not even an improvement and we put Lewis hall on loan when he was ready to start for us he as was playing much better than Chillwell and Cuckarella are doing right now. So forgive us if we seem a little on edge.

I say Reece James has one final chance to prove his worth to the club now he's had surgery, if he only manages a handful of games again he needs to be sold, i'm not interested in players who are unavailable all the time and on the wages they are on, definitely get rid of chilwell, gallagher if he has to go i'm ok with it but also i'm ok if he stays
I'm not even sure the team performance and manager are the worst of the problems. If it's to be belived what is published, chelsea made a losses of £156 million in 20/21 season, £121 million in 21/22 season and £90 million loss 22/23 season. So selling academy players is inevitable. Villa apparently are also in dire straights. Man utd are also walking the tight rope. Man City's hearing is apparently this year At this rate Spurs may win the league next year cos there will be no-one left in the prem

Arsenal will be in the european superleague!!!! This will probably come to the table again, as the bigger clubs will make more money without restrictions. The wider issue is that football needs cash flow from the top (premier league) down (conference league). With clubs in the premier league not being able to spend money that should filter down the leagues, clubs will go bust. There are very few clubs that make a profit.

These Reece James rumours are pur PR. 'The club' never want to sell RJ, however they want to sell Connor. When push comes to shove after the transfer window the ownership seem like heros after they refused £50million RJ offers WHILE also having sold our fan favourite Connor Gallagher (softening that blow)
I don't think Thiago would have made much of a difference, I don't even think VVD would have made a difference in our defence, the entire team lacks organisation and shape, just so many players unmarked or untracked.
