You can't spend your while existence hating how you look, or worrying about your weight. Fat women deserve to be main characters. We don't need to constantly focus on body image issues.

    @gregjayonnaise8314@gregjayonnaise83143 жыл бұрын
    • Late reply but I absolutely agree! It's usually written off as something they tell us in the beginning and then its never brought up again too. Like that horrible trope where main characters act like they're super plain, or ugly compared to other people but end up being a classic, well, MC! Otherwise, if they do bring it up throughout the book its just for pity humbling points or to use the "cure your trauma" storyline. Insecurities and low self-esteem could easily do so much in a good book, but they usually end up trashing the entirety of the plot.

  • I fully support Cindy documenting her culinary journey because its like a murder mystery. I watch her prepare the ingredients like every step is a clue. Then when she tells us how it tasted (too salty) I can go back and watch her pour like a tablespoon and a half of salt into the dish to really appreciate the foreshadowing towards the reveal. lolol I really enjoyed this video and I always love to get your opinions on books so I can add/delete them from my own tbr accordingly.

Although a part of the first season tackled MC's self-image (which I guess is needed to introduce that part of her psyche, at least to the general public who may have never seen that type of POV before) but the show didn't drag on it and instead tackled other aspects of her life as well. Career, love/sex life, friendship. I especially enjoyed season three.
