Huge thanks to Radflo Susupension to having us out to cover this trip to the Rubicon trail. Also thanks to RPM Off Road Garage and SoCal Trail buds!
We hiked a lot of the trail capturing these awesome rigs tackling one of the hardest off road trails in America. Starting at Loon Lake trail head all the way down to Lake Tahoe! Hope you enjoy, subscribe for more trail and install videos!

  • Thank you for the video!! I know it took a long time to put the music with everything but it would be nice to hear the engines and tires as you go as well.

  • Still one of the most sought after 4x4's here in Australia, even after all these years. To get a good one, you pretty much have to pry the keys from the dying owners hand....

    • Some people were dubious when I got my 95 1hdft manual 80, 1 owner, stock as a rock, 180,000km. Foolish fools. Freezing cold air. ABS Cruise. What the hell more do you want to slay any track around?

    • Some people I know think I'm mad buying a 30 year old 4wd but I bought an 80 anyway, they're all about function over form but also happen to have good form as well, cheers fellow Aussies ❤

  • Has everyone upgraded their steering box on their 80's? I keep hearing not to hit any tough trails without the 105 upgrade? I'm getting ready to hit the Rubicon in my 97 80 series and I'm curious of the groups thoughts as your all obviously experienced 80 series tough trail folks.

    • Thanks for the input. I appreciate the feedback. It was our longest video yet, and the content was all so good it was difficult to find music for the entire length. Now seeing the views, I realize that the footage was enough and didn't need all the music. Was so focused on trying to not get a copyright strike and still managed that! lol
