Huge thanks to Radflo Susupension to having us out to cover this trip to the Rubicon trail. Also thanks to RPM Off Road Garage and SoCal Trail buds!
We hiked a lot of the trail capturing these awesome rigs tackling one of the hardest off road trails in America. Starting at Loon Lake trail head all the way down to Lake Tahoe! Hope you enjoy, subscribe for more trail and install videos!
Yeah I still love my 80.....cheers from Blue Mountains Australia 👍👍
Land cruiser heaven. Looks like everyone had a great time!
It was the first time. Our first time on the Rubicon and Crusier guys were the best!
@@4lowphoto Some of those obstacles look impossible. You guys did a great job making it look easy ;)
Awesome video. In case anyone needs a refresh on what makes 80's awesome. I'll share this video!!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Damn that first 80 series had like no flex in the front
Thank you for the video!! I know it took a long time to put the music with everything but it would be nice to hear the engines and tires as you go as well.
Still one of the most sought after 4x4's here in Australia, even after all these years. To get a good one, you pretty much have to pry the keys from the dying owners hand....
Some people were dubious when I got my 95 1hdft manual 80, 1 owner, stock as a rock, 180,000km. Foolish fools. Freezing cold air. ABS Cruise. What the hell more do you want to slay any track around?
First time wheeling with them. I was super impressed!
Some people I know think I'm mad buying a 30 year old 4wd but I bought an 80 anyway, they're all about function over form but also happen to have good form as well, cheers fellow Aussies ❤
Great video guys! Subscribed! Looking forward to more content.
Love the articulation and rock kisses! Can't wait to participate.
Very good skills all of you guys
Nice rc collection stop in at rc country in Sacramento some time ;)
Awesome seeing the 80 series. I’m guessing all where triple locked
Oh yea! Be really tough with out.
@@inlandgraphix Looks like 95-97 are the years to get for a good reason.
Has everyone upgraded their steering box on their 80's? I keep hearing not to hit any tough trails without the 105 upgrade? I'm getting ready to hit the Rubicon in my 97 80 series and I'm curious of the groups thoughts as your all obviously experienced 80 series tough trail folks.
Go follow the 80 series group on Facebook
What size tires and lift were they running on the land cruiser?
Most had 37s, one on 35s and the white trail leader had 39s.
Thanks great video.
What suspension were the 80s running?
All different, but a lot of them had Radflo shocks as that's who we were with for the trip.
Didnt know this was a Modelo commercial
skip the music next vid.. im trying to listen to classical music in the background. I think people would rather hear tires and motors. good shots!
great video but there was too much music.
Thanks for the input. I appreciate the feedback. It was our longest video yet, and the content was all so good it was difficult to find music for the entire length. Now seeing the views, I realize that the footage was enough and didn't need all the music. Was so focused on trying to not get a copyright strike and still managed that! lol
@@inlandgraphix you're welcome 👍
looks like a lot of traffic to me
This was just our group. Seeing as the trail just opened up a day before from the forrest fires, we only saw a few other people period on the entire trail. It was really nice.
@@4lowphoto that is good to hear - thanks
Would rather hear the rigs than the music
The music ruins the video for me.
Music for 22 min video is hard to come by. Focused more on the footage and still got a copyright strike,
The music...👎🏻
The whole time I waited for the shitty music to stop. Man was I upset when it didn’t. Ever. Stop.
