@@RayenR this is the biggest bs i hav heard today.......Goreztka is the main guy along with Muller who makes movements off the ball during build up to give Kimmich the maximum space possible.Goreztka and Muller usually push extremely high in a 4141 shape to pin back the opposition midfield.This is what gives Kimmich the space to move around deep.But today with Alaba instead,the PSG pivots can lay off just behind Bayern's midfield ready to mark off Kimmich or Alaba

the fitness of bayern also simply wasn’t there in the last 20 mins of the game- Kimmich Alaba and the wingers look much more tired than they usually do, and without having any squad depth they lost the game

Neymar was amazing, if that ball went in where he dribbled Alaba and went for the top corner, it would've been one of the best goals of the tournament... people forget Neymar is NOT 100% fit, he just got back from injury after not playing for MONTHS. And he still manages to perform

It was incredible to see how little pressing, tracking back and general defensive work the front three of PSG did. I wonder if the strategy involves conserving their energy - they were excellent in possession - or if those players just think they are above that kind of thing? I wonder how much more effective PSG would be if they won the ball higher up and countered from there.
I think it's so that they can just stay higher up and counter when necessary, although against bayern they seemed to press more than they usually do.
@@correlgamers7518 I suppose they want Bayern to progress so that the line is high and there is space in behind. Still, I'm surprised they didn't switch between a high and low block as Man Utd often do under OGS.

I am not going to lie. Paredes was such a key man on the build up play. He compliments Gueye so much better than Danilo. Also, PSG need to be more clinical, could of easily score 4 goals this game. Had more clear chances than Bayern

Bayern had to play without key players in every position and still put up a great fight and even won, sadly not enough because of the stupid away rule (hello covid). Bayerns tactic especially resolve a lot around goretzka and lewa and even though the substitutes did a great job the team is just not used to this line up and therefore lost
The away rule has always existed and that's what makes the competition so difficult to win, you want them to take off the rule just to make it easier for Bayern Munich? 😂

PSG played without Verrati, Marquinhos , Bernât, Icardi, Florenzi, Paredes was not there for the first match.... So it was almost a B team....
@@laurent___4431 It's a bit of a stretch, Icardi hasn't been effective recently in fact, Bernat hasn't been there for months... About Veratti even Pochettino said that he couldn't retain the ball against Barcelona, kind of criticized him, so for him it's not someone they can't go without. Paredes played 2 days ago at the exact position with Gaye, they rehearsed. Back line, well, Tuchel had already played Danilo there in Marquinhos spot, so he's experienced. The most important players were there though, Neymar, Mbappe and Navas, unlike Bayen without their key players. I support PSG, but I don't think that was B-team or whatever letter is even the point, when Neymar alone made somewhat about 70% of the difference all by himself. Not to mention that with all that injuries, covid and disqualifications, Tuchel played everybody, so they all got enough time on the pitch.

When Ney is in good shape, whatever the tactics he will go through 1_2 sometimes 3 players and create chances. That s what he did yesterday when Alaba and Kimmich looked like kids.

C'mon bro. I'm a Bayern fan but that's just not true. They didn't have their starting midfield pair in the previous game (Verratti and Paredes) and Marquinhos went off early. In the 2nd game Marquinhos and Verratti both didn't start...
Bayern injuries Lewa, gnabry, goretzka, Sule, Costa, tolisso, Rocca and then Boateng, Coman, Hernandez came back from injury too from last game in bundesliga. Did you see bayern's bench ? They had there academy players brought in for filling the bench.
In my opinion, it was a bit of an undeserved win. Bayern easily dominated PSG on both legs, this shows in the 2nd leg after being more dominant on the ball, but sadly they couldn’t convert. With the absence of Lewandowski, Gnabry, and Goretzka, the team became less efficient on goalscoring. And with the absence of Goretzka, Kimmich is the only consistent midfielder who can effectively play anywhere in midfield. Thanks to Alaba he filled that gap. Sadly he’ll be leaving after the season. Congrats to PSG. It’s been a while since we’ve seen such an entertaining match like this. Edit: Also, Imagine if all Players on Both PSG an Bayern were fully fit, it probably would have been the best UCL battle for this season.
I don't think PSG were dominated in the second league only the first. PSG performed better than bayern in the second league, although not dominantly.
