    • @cestoz About a lowkey underrated actor. He's had a lot of success and gained recognition for The Notebook, but it seems like Barbie really put him in the spotlight as being so much more than a romantic rain-soaked chick flick dude. He's the best Ken that ever Kenned and so many of us doubted his casting until we saw the movie. Then we were like "I'm sorry I ever doubted him!" Even months later, he is still playing the perfect Ken.

It can't even stand against Cillian Murphy's 'Openheimer'..if you like musical, that kind of acting, song & dance, you can see any Bollywood movie, even the trashiest kind has this type of songs & better choreography. I came here to see, what's the hype.. Yeah, lyrics are good, music is too, but if Ryan Gosling wins the best actor award for 'this', & Cillian Murphy doesn't, that will be a abomination of the award itself..

I'm just Ken Where I see love, she sees a friend What will it take for her to see the man behind the tan and fight for me? [Verse 2] I wanna know what it's like to love To be the real thing Is it a crime? Am I not hot when I'm in my feelings? And is my moment finally here, or am I dreaming? I'm no dreamer [Chorus] I'm just Ken Anywhere else, I'd be a ten Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blond fragility? I'm just Ken Where I see love, she sees a friend What will it take for her to see the man behind the tan and fight for me? [Outro] I'm just Ken (And I'm enough) And I'm great at doing stuff So, hey, check me out, yeah, I'm just Ken My name's Ken (And so am I) Put that manly hand in mine So, hey, world, check me out, yeah, I'm just Ken Baby, I'm just Ken Merry Christmas Barbie, wherever you are. • That's the beauty of the Kenergy, and of Ken. It doesn't matter our background, gender, sexuality, being NT or not, almost everyone has struggled with feelings of inadequacy, like we are not enough. We were right along with Ken on his journey towards self-acceptance and realizing he's Kenough. Being BPD, I saw a lot of that in Ken's bringing the patriarchy to Barbie Land. He wanted so badly to get Barbie's attention that he ended up making things worse...and wanting to hide his eyes. (In the GQ Ken Essentials it was explained the first pair of sunglasses was to hide the pain.) Sure, anyone is capable of making things worse, but doing in a misguided effort to catch the attention of a love interest is a classic BPD move.

  • In this recording Ryan's vocals feel so much more emotional making the lyrics feel like they have a more serious and metaphorical meaning. I'm baffled.
