Sorry for the late reply, But since theres no reply i'll just say its a Wakizashi Which is just a shorter katana, Tanto is much shorter, as its a dagger

No, but a descendant of Scorpion’s daughter. After he died, Rayden took her to the one place Sub-Zero wouldn’t think to go look for her. She survived, had children, died, and they went on and on till we got Cole Young, who is the present-day descendant alongside his daughter. If he dies, she will inherit the dragon marking, provided that he isn’t killed by anyone first.
Such a shame this movie didnt live up to this amazing scene. It was such a bad movie. They should have just done a Scorpion movie.
