    • the comparison for ease of repair between iphone and other brands is normally in the screen replacement. with iphone you take the screen off and transfer a couple things if not just one, with a samsung you have to take the back off and transfer everything he just did in the video just to fix a screen unless you have the tools to seperate the glass from the body of the phone. its rediculous

I bought a new shell and spend 3 hours stripping it down and completely rebuilding it. After it looked brand new and worked perfectly too.

    • @@0w3nn yeah, to get rid of those messages you need to be a highly skilled board tech. You need to transferred the ic from the display flex over to the new screen, that makes the non genuine display message go away, you would need to transfer the bms board and spot weld it to the nickel contacts under the polyamide tape to remove the battery message. And the dot projector seems to just need a new crystal.

You do need micro welding machine to weld it to the replacement battery... I know it's tricky n long shot but I would love to see you doing this experiment in your next video.

In cases where the display is badly damaged, you can still use 3utools to get all the serial numbers of each iphone part including the screen's. Why diddn't you try doing that for the screen or any of the other parts that were not working like face id? Please reply :)
