Putting shrouds claims to the test. After a few days of using a g640 and comparing sensor feel to other pads I feel confident enough to reveal my conclusion. Obviously I enabled GAMING SURFACE MODE for better results.

G640s last for like a month before you have dead zones in the surface that feel slower than the lesser used parts of the pads. Then it truly becomes GG if you’re not Shroud and receiving a new one in the mail from Logitech every two weeks.
oh fuck i was using a g640 for 3 years, i flipped it around and its so much faster on the spots that i dont use lmaoooo i have ordered mpc-450 lol

@@yyyynwm9106 i use mpc-450 then now i switched to sky pad 3.0 and like the consistency better, my MPC developled slower spots but you can wipe it clean and easier to clean than cloth pad cuz of the cordura

More testing sounds fun but I can't believe there is much of a difference in terms of performance. I think mostly the mouse pads are just about feel and how easily the mice can slide. I'm sticking with my hard pads because they are easy to clean and I can spray some Pledge on them to speed them up when I want. Thumbs up.
Man, like a decade ago I remember getting Logitech mouse and their pad and tried that mousepad optimization thing in their software, sensor was stopping constantly. Total BS haha. Also isn't it G740 now hm.

you have to get the full logitech build man, speakers, chair, headset, keyboard etc it was made to be used together or it won't work

I use a Strider with my DAV3, but mostly because me cats always pulled the strings of clothpads and the strider is quite cat-safe for now :D
i love the g640 so much, i even have 2 of the pads. But is there a different alternative, that has better durability thats kinda mainstream branding, and doesnt cost 50 dollars? ( i live in europe )

G640 and Zero are similar weaves. The GPX stock skates + G640 are god tier smooth, I can play much better with those then with Zero + GPX and un stock

The gpx2 is a good mouse for most people, a lot of pro-players use the gpx2 and gpx. I would recommend getting the gpx2 since it's a good mouse that you can use and enjoy now, rather than waiting.
G640 has 2 Versions ohne with black Silicon Rubber and Blue rubber the Blue one is the good one but it is wearing down fast

not really since artisan mousepads aren't "good" because they track better, most decent mousepads will track the same, it's about the glide, friction, changes with humidity, feeling, the base etc..
Don't forget you need the logitech gaming chair too or it's gg

I've had massive issues with the GPX2 on different pads. It cuts on and out nonstop on a lot of them. Sucks

@@SnappingTurtle90, That mouse just doesn't track well on certain pads. Make sure you change the tracking setting to automatic in Ghub. Try that. Sometimes it settles down and works fine

Played with a g pro with a gsr-se mousepad and people thought i was cheating on apex, Swapped to g pro x superlight with g840 mousepad and now im dogshit.
Shroud is obviously on another level, you need to work on your form in order to catch up. Control your ki, let your wrist move on its own, and maybe you’ll starting to comprehend what shroud is talking about
