  • My experience with a continuous glucose monitor and oatmeal is that when it was just plain with salt and butter my blood glucose went way way way up! When I simply added a decent amount of cinnamon, it stayed very even. This was a repeated result from doing it repeatedly.

Patients had to use two capsules after breakfast and dinner. 500 mg is a half a teaspoon. So you would have to take one teaspoon on your breakfast and 1 tsp before dinner.

  • Thank you so much for your video! I have been so torn if I have to give up oatmeal because what all the “experts” say. For those that don’t know….I know it may sound weird but if you add in a scrambled egg into oatmeal you will get the creamiest oatmeal you have ever eaten! So good. 😋The trick is… when your oats are almost done cooking add a 1/4 cup of cold water in one spot, in that same spot pour your egg in and start stirring like crazy. This way you don’t end up with scrambled eggs in your oatmeal. You will start to see your oatmeal become a creamier consistency as you stir and it cooks. Only takes a minute. It won’t taste eggy either. I’d love to see how adding the egg would change your results.

    @lindas215@lindas2155 ай бұрын
    • I just fold in the raw egg when the hot oats are almost cooked. The egg will cook perfectly. Don't forget to add salt and black pepper, real butter (or a bit of olive oil). I also love to add a finely chopped clove of garlic sometimes. Be adventurous... try a spoonful of Chinese oyster sauce or a dash of soy sauce.

  • This is great content but people should know that were all different in regards to blood sugar reactions to specific foods. If you want your own accurate results get on a glucose monitoring system of your own to test. Great stuff here 👍

  • Please do the instant+ 3 table of steel cut few nuts, Andrew dried fruit. I found them more palletable on that way.

  • I am 7mos pregnant diagnosed with gestational diabetes and this morning I felt lazy to make a meal, so I went for instant oatmeal and then regret later. As it turns out the instant ones had A LOT of sugar in it and very minimal fiber. 😢 Lesson learned.
