    • Ya Anna's loud mouth must come from her dad but then again I've never heard him get loud either?.... I think Anna is just so easily excited about chess. Her smile is almost contagious!!! I think most chess players are introverted where as Anna is completely extroverted ♟♟♟♟♟

    • @@asc8048 the point I was making is that the norm is this kind of family. no family is perfect, but most families have a bond and have love for each other. Im sorry for anyone who doesnt have a family that has love and trust but its not an anomaly to see this kind of family. also dysfunctional and not loving are very different things. no family is perfectly functional, not even this one. this is infront of a camera and this family also has their private issues as any family

  • Wow. I am computer sci guy and had to make a chess program in college back in the old days. Today, I decided to actually play chess and your channel is the first I hit. Great stuff. Your content is to chess, like mit is to computer science. Strangely you guys have brains like really good programmers who know and trained on memorizing permutations and combinations and mathematical modulus and moving window expansion (even though you do not come out and say it). Great stuff.

  • I also forget that Anna probably feels a lot of pressure to because her parents are both GMs. It's plain to see though there is no pressure from them and they are proud anyway. You would still feel pressure though. I feel Anna's weakness is she doesn't have her mothers calmness under pressure.

Just discovered it a few days ago - and actually for my skill level I learn from it more than the other “famous matches” chess channel I’ve subscribed to for a couple years and also enjoy a lot. Question: What’s that vertical white bar on the left that goes up and down? I’m sure it’s a dumb question but I’m stumped!

  • Im an old man who played years ago then life blocked it out,I wasnt good,mayba good (depending on the opponite).lol This young ladys excitement and enthusiasm in the park on KZhead are what 1st made me watch,then seeing her parents.GOD blessed you ALL !   • I don’t mind seeing a3 as in the first game. I was taught to go d5 and take on c4, playing a QGA when the inclusion of a3 is pretty bad for white. Playable, sure, but I have good results against this.

  • When I played against 3. gen chech computer, It was merciless, if you got a pawn behind It became extremely agressive, took every piece it could. Since it was ahead. Very methotical and effective.

  • I think the ghost of David Bronstein must love Anna, I should play A, or B, both look Logical, but C looks fun, let me play C. Pia, 28min I just want to play Bf5, and she gets just a crushing position. Still Anna's position was never that objectively bad if we can trust the engine.

  • Anna, you and your mom have an amazing cute relationship. But if you introspect enough, look back at this and notice that you don't let your mother finish her sentence towards the end of the game especially. She's obviously not into overt contradiction unless it's absolutely necessary. Let her say what she needs to say instead of jumping to 'predict' her and you might see she had more to say.
