Skip to like 5:33, I think that is like the greatest example of how ridiculous Rose athleticism was. He flies for the block, goes out of bounds for a sec, then accelerates into Ferrari mode, gets the ball, and then becomes a one man wrecking crew, ignores the D, calmly makes his way inside, spins like it's nobodies business, contorts his body and lays it in (against a great defender Hibbert too) Gosh Rose made me fall in love with basketball so hard, even if I could never play like him (not that anyone really can... although some come close)

This guy (D Rose)went up against a stacked Lebron team. People give Bron credit for guarding him for a moment in the 4th. This dude was the engine and the offense of his team. Bron had monStars (Space Jams)on his team. He was exhaused while Bron was fresh. Most overrated statement made about Bron "he guards one through 5" nonse.
@micksickwithit9800 Жыл бұрын
Man stop. Even in Cleveland when lebron lost love and Kyrie injured down 2-1 rose still ain't lead the bulls past Bron. And he did get locked up by a guy that can and has guarded 1-5. Go watch the 2013 finals when Bron was guarding Tim Duncan, kawhi, Tony Parker and got that huge block on Tiago splitter. Or when he locked up russ, harden, Murray, and Giannis. If u don't know ball just say u don't know ball.

Tell me a better point God😮💨 just glad we got highlights of him true 99 overall in his early prime. He got all the tools offensively and more! Plus the Defensive awareness. He's intensity reminds me of Jordan in his prime, just a dog💪
Very good video!👏 Thanks for sharing it. D-Rose is a legend!
6:38 The flash, unstoppable. Without a doubt one of the most fantastic players in the NBA, before the injuries. There was no player at the time at such an athletic level, or at least they didn't do what he did with all this technique and speed.
I really appreciate the first highlight coinciding with being my favorite d rose highlight
People really really forget how great this guy was
I remember when the discussion at this time was who’s the better athletic PG…D Rose or Westbrook. Were they serious?? 🤣🤣😭
I miss him in Chicago so much
I wonder why he’s never mentioned with one of the best ball handlers in NBA history
He is the best of all time!
Whooo boy!!!
He is to me
D Rose is this Generations version of Allen Iverson but with more explosiveness 🔥🔥🔥
And could dunk better
I cant stress this enough. I love derrick rose.
You just have to smile while watching this.
Greatest player I’ve ever been able to watch live My favorite player ever 🌹
This is enough to make a grown mf man cry dawg. What could have been😭😭😭
Oh my God, I wished Derrick Rose did not get injured...he was absolutely a generational talent. He should have been in the top 75 NBA greatest and a first ballot Hall Of Famer 😔
He would have been top 10
This man deserves a ring. What an amazing player.
When you watch how he used to land it’s no surprise that he got injured 😢
When I lived in Milwaukee…and the Bulls would come to town, he would get MVP chants in MKE. It was crazy. Kobe is the only other player I seen get MVP chants in another city.
Watching D Rose highlights are depressing 🥺
fr. whenever I see him pulling some crazy nice move while averaging like 3 ppg and showing some remnant of prime drose i get sad
Awesome video. He's one of my favorite players of all time
Would have been fun to see Rose with better spacing on the floor. That wasn't the game quite yet but he still made it work.
I LOVE DERRICK ROSE
🔥 Always love a good Rose video.
You’re not the only one bro we will forever love rose in chicago
Skip to like 5:33, I think that is like the greatest example of how ridiculous Rose athleticism was. He flies for the block, goes out of bounds for a sec, then accelerates into Ferrari mode, gets the ball, and then becomes a one man wrecking crew, ignores the D, calmly makes his way inside, spins like it's nobodies business, contorts his body and lays it in (against a great defender Hibbert too) Gosh Rose made me fall in love with basketball so hard, even if I could never play like him (not that anyone really can... although some come close)
Beautiful
Nah the crazy part is he might have put it in sport mode but skip to 6:38 if you wanna see Ferrari track mode
He definitely got to go down as one of the best finishers in NBA history idk how in the world he make some of those layups
Derrick Rose is Derrick Rose but I just can help to see a mix of like, 50% of Allen Iverson + 50% of Michael Jordan in him. Such a great player and man.
What a beautiful blip in the history of sports
nice way to put it
Perfect song
Great video! 🌹🔥
Rose and young blake would go up on anybody and smash it on them. It was so much fun to watch those 2.
I’m glad I witnessed his greatness while he was on top of the world at such a young age, I’m just not happy I witnessed the many injuries he suffered 😢 he will forever be one of my favorite players
my favorite player from that time period. my mans was too cool.
I will always love the Windy City Assassin
I love how touch the sky is in the background
01:47 beauty fast spin 04:31 genius
Amazing highlights, with touch the sky by kanye, amazing
legend!
Had he never injured, he could have won more NBA championship titles. Respect. ♥️
Man was unstoppable even with those injuries
THE ROSE SHOW ❤
“STOP IT. I WANNA GO HIGHER” - all time legendary call on an all time legendary play
Name me someone besides LeBron who can guard 1 thru 5. Because I think of two of them right now still playing
@@sportstalkonly1442 if lebron stayed in Cleveland drose was def going to go to the finals in 2011 lebron cleavend team wouldn't beat the 2011 bulls
@@OfficiallyJeffWorld he didn't beat the cavs without love and kyrie missing two games.. He wasn't going to get past Bron. Look at the 2010 playoffs
Ngl like the type of aggressiveness Russ played with is just unmatched
6:45 shows just how great Rose was. Allen, one of the best perimeter defenders at the time. And he couldn’t keep up with Rose’s athleticism.
he just too good... he a nightmare matchup for every PG in the league during he MVP season
That’s it Too big, too fast, too strong, too good❤
My favorite highlight when he dunked on Wade and Lebron at the same time.
This gives me goosebumps man. The body control mid air, this man had FINESSE! But he also was able to play through all that contact as well.
Man, he was something special in his prime.
🔥🔥 vid man
Idol Derick rose from philippines,,
we were so happy in that days
Thank you 🌹
VERY few can leap thru the impression, he had that degree of work ethic.
i remember getting his 2.5s for christmas :,)
The Bulls did this young man a great disservice. He could have preserved his knees and probably prevented a lot of damage to his knees if they would have taught him how to land after jumping😑. As a Chicago native and lifelong Bulls fan his time there was special. Need to retire that #1 as soon as he hang it up
Rose was soooo cold bruh
Rose one of those players nobody can hate on
1 of da greatest to do it!
My heart is soaring but my knee is hurting from watching this.
He constantly landed on straight legs. I think this is one of the major reasons for his injuries.
Also usually landed on one leg which didn't spread the impact well :(
His dunk package is phenomenal
MVP! D Rose , I watched every single Bulls game for 3-4 years straight when D Rose arrived to the Bulls - He is the REAL MVP! And it was too fun watching him exploding to the rim and performing, PHENOMAL feats. I haven't watched many, if any, bulls game after the D Rose era. It's just not the same, D Rose #1.
Hall of famer in my book
3:47 That timing with the beat and Call from Marv is great
Imagine rose n jordan running da fast break sheeeesh
Amazing dude, he's the new Michael Jordan! I only came here because I bought Rose shoes from Adidas !! I love it
Mavs fan here... but damn this man was the greatest finisher in his prime
Shout out to Derrick rose man that n***a nice
Touch the Sky!
always will be my favorite player i dont care what anyone tells me if hes a what if player
"what are you doing dragic!!!??"😂😂
Not gunna lie I love D.Rose but this whole video I didn see one highlight against the Spursl my favorite team but the first game I went to I might have jus turned 15-16 so it was ‘10-‘11 but it was against the bulls and D.Rose was crazy fast explosive all that but to see it in person and my first nba game I attended it was crazy of course I wanted S.A to win but D.Rose had one play be coast to coast in like 3-4 seconds I swear there was at least 20 on the shit clock but he dunked it n led the comeback!! Always have live for D.Rose 💯
there was like a 3-4 year period during my high school/ college days where it felt like almost half the people on the basketball court were wearing adizero crazy lights
Damn he was good . I wonder how many trophies this man would have had he not been injured so many times
We all know about the injuries, but we all should be grateful that we got to see him play without them. How can you forget about this ultimate athlete? People talk about the GOAT - MJ, Kobe, Lebron, Bird, Wilt. Rose would def be in the conversation if he stayed healthy, but such is life of an athlete. He was awesome. The end.
B4 Westbrook, curry ,Lillard and Kyrie there were called the "windy city assassin" and that man is Derrick Rose 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
When Rose got that momentum going, there wasn't anyone who could stop him. The man was running on pure jet fuel. Once he got that step off, it was already over.
