Wow I’m so proud that ballerinas are given more attention !!! I love Isabella so much she is my idol!
Celeste Cisneros I love ballerinas too
She's so beautiful and her body is a dancer's body all the way. I love watching her dance, her lines are amazing.
I love ballerinas too. Even though I'm in Taekwondo.
mine to!!!
👍
It is so good that Vogue is putting real people on stage. Show business women, teachers, doctors etc... Models and rich people are not reference for us.
gizem özel 💀
IDK I feel as though her career is extremely exclusive. You have higher chances of becoming a doctor than to be the next Isabella Boylston. It's definitely nice to have other types of artists (not just singers, actors, models) though.
Not a reference for us? Maybe not a reference for you. But you can’t speak for the rest of us. We don’t know each other here. And we don’t know what each of us look like or do for a living to know what we connect with 😊👍🏼
👍
Models and rich people are real people too.
Guys this is stage make up it is not supposed to look soft and blended and nice up close.
That’s not true in any way. It just doesn’t *have* to be soft and blended if you aren’t being broadcasted/recorded/displayed on an overhead screen. Plenty of stage makeup is better applied that this is. She’s just not a makeup artist. Just because you do something as part of your job doesn’t mean you specialize in that action.
@@TheAzerath most people who require stage makeup do it themselves. All ballerinas have to do it themselves. This is how most stage makeup is done. Almost nobody gets a makeup artist to do their stage makeup. So yes, this is how it's suppose to be. It's meant to be sharp and dark so that it's easily seen.
@Marie-Josée Nantel this does not look like Halloween makeup at all.
@Marie-Josée Nantel hummmmmmmm lol why are you so angry? Way too offended.
@Marie-Josée Nantel LOLLLLLLL you’re literally saying to not say things that you didn’t say (but you did talk about halloween makeup- did you not?) and keep saying “hummmmm” it’s coming off a little condescending. So if you’re not angry, it’s certainly coming off that way.
I love it when they actually mention the name of the product they are using.
I had the chance to see Isabella Boylston in Swan Lake at the American Ballet Theatre a couple of weeks back and absolutely loved it!! I have seen multiple renditions, however, this one was my favorite, and Isabella Boylston's incredible portrayal of Odette/Odille were a large reason why.
How luky you are!!! I had never got the chance to see a live ballet performance and i would love to see Swan lake, its just magical!
finally giving a platform for people with actual talent.
What are you implying? that supermodels or beauty gurus aren't talented? stop being so miserable and negative.
@@shadeoflys7425 miserable? lmao. i was referring to the kardashian/jenners mostly.
Is it just me or does it feel like every celeb who has done grwm on Vogue has been in the same bathroom ??????
I KNOW RIGHT. i think vogue brings them to a studio or something
@@monamsaleem5017 According to the caption, this was filmed in The Pierre hotel.
Letticia Delgado I think they have several locations (studios or hotel bathrooms) to film in ✨
It’s a hotel
It shits me no end that this is out of focus
I like seeing more artists on here. I'd love to see an opera singer next.
SD Bee I agree. These are the people we should be making famous.
YESSSS
Agreed!! That would be awesome, there are so many hard working artists out there
Joyce Didonato
Yaaaas were doing ballet dancers now, Misty Copeland , Natalia Osipova , Sarah Lamb please!
Marianela Núñez!
Lauren Cuthbertson, she is fabulous!!
Ooh and Megan Fairchild too!
sarah lamb being on vogue would be such a dream omfg
Misty Copeland blows. Gillian Murphy is incredible.
Who else pretends they’re on Vogue when they get ready? Edit thanks for likes. I’m not used to this kind of treatment. Lmao
Sifa, Omg I know! They have the nicest marble bathrooms.
🙋🏻♀️ here I am sis
A lot film in in a hotel room
@Sifa they're filmed in the bathrooms of upscale hotels
Me 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
I really love how the world is giving more importance to dancers... it’s actually such an underrated community that can bring so much into this world❤️
Vogue... you’re doing things right !!
An exquisite beauty! love the genuine simplicity and warmness about her, very refreshing.
Do 73 questions with Isabella Boylston . Who agrees with me ???
No
Yes as long it's about beauty & makeup.
Love you really wanna ask questions about make up to the principal dancer of the ABT lol

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSS
Isabella Spread Love Everywhere You Go. Let No One Ever Come To You Without Leaving Happier*
I honestly love her she is being different and not following a trend.. using fingers to put eyeshadow on and .. you go girl who wants to be a copy cat any way
Loved seeing a dancer! You should definitely do more of these
Wow so gorgeous and what an interesting video!!!! And super talented, 7 years playing the White and Black Swan😍
Can you do some Atletes?? Like a Rithmic Gymnast, or a Synchronized Swimmer
Irene B yeah, synchronised swimmer would be really interesting, cuz they have to have completely waterproof makeup
Ballerinas are athletes
Eva Salvador I think that ballerinas are Artists, since their job is considered an art as well as a musicians
Irene B I totally agree but,if it’s competition dance then it’s athletic
Eva Salvador yes but you see, this video in particular is not a competition. I just would like to see my sport (RG) more rappresented
My reaction to see her use her bare hands to apply most of the makeup lol 15 yrs ago that was just normal now we’re gasping like omg 😮
I'm 22 and I still apply some of my makeup with my fingers. It works better that way lol
I like to use my hands when I apply foundation. 😊
Wow that was so interesting and refreshing to see. More get ready videos like this please!
Stage make up is amazing. She looks so glamorous! I discovered Isabella after hearing her interviewed on a podcast and got intrigued.
I love Isabella! This was such a fun and expected thing to watch. Makeup is such a personal and cultural things that it's really interesting to see how women and men, besides models and actresses, use makeup.
AHHHH BELLAA I LOVE HER THANK YOU VOGUE FOR FEATUERING HER

I would have loved to see how that makeup looked at the stage far away

Seen Swan Lake it just incredibly mesmerising & magical 🌹
I love that you guys are featuring real people! This was so cool to watch, not everyday you get to see attention being brought to ballerinas.

I loved this! So beautiful
love the look, the ballet dancer and Swan lake! beautiful
People with talent and passion for the arts are the people we should be making famous. Enough with reality tv “stars”.
meeting her was the best day of my life!
Love To watch you dancing. If there was a word, one word, it still couldn't describe you. Passion, Grace, emotion, stamina and above all an incredible dancer. Never quit, no matter what, consume your passion, everything else will then fall into place.
😊😊❤️ You look absolutely beautiful. I’ve only taken about two months of ballet but I remember there were times when I was sore in places I didn’t know existed!
i love to see ballet dancers getting some recognition finally!
I saw her body on IG and she's soooo strong physically and mentally.
She is my one of the most favorite ballerina !I love her dance 💃
It's amazing they have to complete their own makeup .Id have loved to see her preform.
I’m really happy to see Vogue exploring other lifestyles on this format!
I love Isabella! She's such a great ballerina.
Love Swan Lake & Any Ballet!!!
Isabella is so talented yet so real and down to earth. ❣️great tips! ( not that I’ll be playing Odile /Odette anytime soon 😂) 🖤🤍

I’d wear that look every day
yes queen
Sweet!
Can you make a 73 questions with Tom Holland interview?
Very pretty
Nice beautifull awesome
I did makeup for the Ballet and I feel like you could have even used more. I don't know why people are acting like this is OTT. But it could also be the lighting, I know how deceiving cameras can be.
Yass Cindy!
we love jordan in this house!!
WOOOW 5 pairs a week, those shoes are like a hundred dollars a pair aswell!
Yep, major companies have huge budgets just for their dancers' pointe shoes! Some will even go through THREE in a single show!!
Alex Gatto every dancer gets their shoes for free in a company so that it’s easy to use as much as they need other wise they will need to pay too much
One of the top ballerinas in the world 💯
Isabella you've lovely glowy & dewy skin ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹
Loooove it! Now do Misty!!!!
Could you please please do Misty Copeland next!!!!
