I think the coach of Brazil and his picks were the problem. Germany wasn't scoring that much before that game, so the Brazil team had serious problem from the start. Not undermining Germany though.

From like 2007-2020 maybe, every time Real or Barca were in finals or won, on the way there, there were a lot of scatchy fouls, awarded penalties, red cards, no call offsides going towards them. Barca 2009 is one big one for sure.

The conspiracy theory is that UEFA wanted Man Utd v Barcelona in the final, avoiding a repeat of the 2008 final.
Problem is, from like 08 until 2020 when its real or Barca in knock out phase, there is ALWAYS at least one game changing call in their favor.. either is no offsides called or some red cards against opponents, some penalties for diving.. Uefa wanted Barca or Real in finals due to their unmatched popularity.

Neymar injury didn't look that bad tbh. The guy's knee hit him mid jump...which is normal for players ..from that to the whole injury seems suspicious... He wouldn't have been able to stand up ever if there was serious damage
Minor vertebrae fractures aren't massively serious but they can certainly be caused by impact, they don't always require surgery and can be healed with 6 - 12 weeks of rest. Don't confuse the injury with a severe fracture of the vertebrae which can result in paralysis and even death. A friend of mine had a minor vertebrae fracture after getting hit by a van door that got caught by a strong gust of wind, he didn't realise for a week and managed to carry on his life as normal aside from some discomfort until he started getting spasms in his leg and had to go to the hospital to get it checked out.
The UEFA one doesn't hold up, considering Spurs won a UEFA backed European trophy in 1963.
