As a retired camera repair tech, I strongly suggest you not try this 'restoration' method at home. While his shenanigans make for entertaining content, I can assure you with 110% certainty (literally) tearing things apart and washing the body/lens in water while scraping delicate electrical components with a dirty toothbrush will not provide positive results. No internal corrosion or rust and the condition of the screw heads and metal look pristine. Obviously taking a normally used camera and splashing on a fake coat of dust, dirt for views.

Not only that it works 101% of the time, you get the added bonus of having the IR filter layer removed, thus getting the camera ready for astrophotography ;)

@Cee Stringz yes its paint, pay attention at that table at 11:00, the same yellowish color used to destroy the camera, as you can see the table has marks and cues to be used to paint stuff on it (probably other destroyed stuff from past videos), in the beginning, the camera was just briefly covered with mud just for the scene, as much he keeps manipulating it with his hands making it reveal the true yellow paint color, totally different from the actual mud from the place

it is very interesting to see the assembling-de assembling process and the internal components :-) Perhaps make a channel about that? No need to fish the items out of the river. when even damp can destroy circuit connectivity ... it's going to take a little more than WD40 and soap to restore corroded boards, and flooded parts, these electronics look very clean (besides the lens mount shield) ... even the screws should be impossible to drive out of their sockets without breaking apart ... what are you doing exactly with the multimeter ... no need to be hitting the front element of the lens with your screwdriver ...

Для русского комьюнити хотелось бы пояснить. Пытаться восстанавливать вещи по такому же принципу, как показано в видеоролике как выйти из окна с надеждой зайти обратно. Данный канал несёт лишь развлекательный контент. Все действия в данном видео не имеют ничего общего с реальностью. Очень халтурная и неаккуратная работа. Я уже не говорю о том, что фотоаппарат оказался в идеальном состоянии)

фотик зеркальный из показанного на фото состояния не восстановить в принципе, там все сдохло и без специальных знаний и навыков это в принципе не реально. Людям видимо нравится смотреть ролики жанра фантастика) п.с. Он фоткает на зеркалку, в которой нету зеркала. Черная магия.

el video esta hecho en reversa, la camara destruida es lo ultimo que se grabó en el minuto 11:02, esa mesa esta pintada con ese color amarillento, el mismo que se uso para ensuciar la camara, puedes notarlo cuando moja la camara destruida con agua aqui en el minuto 1:29, obviamente se se le cambio el matiz de color del video para que no se notara, a parte que en la mesa (la amarilla) se nota que se ha usado para pintar cosas sobre ella (probablemente otras cosas destruidas en videos anteriores) incluso puedes ver su color madera real rasgado... a parte que a los circuitos electronicos no se les echa agua , (sin mencionar que golpea el lente del foco con el destornillador sin razon, probablemente error de edicion ya que realmente lo estan destruyendo)

This is just an old camera in very good condition that has been chucked into mud. The condition of the battery connectors and other metal parts on the inside are testament to this. I have a 15 year old camera in my cupboard and the insides of it is in way worse condition than this camera. I'm just surprised that those circuits can take a good bath/shower. When the title said 20 years old antique camera I was expecting to see a film camera. Makes me realize how old I am now 😂

Impossible. because none of the parts are corroded. and if it is buried for that long, the black color will fade (a bit moldy & the color turns white), and the lens if it has been exposed to mildew will be difficult to clean.

The EOS 10D was brought into market 19 years ago. Assuming this is one of the very, very first cams (although the serial number shows that it isnt), that still doesn't make it 20. And yes I hate myself for commenting and pushing this video.

Lol, this is the fake'est restauration I've ever seen. In real life that "find" belongs to the trash can. There is no way that thing could be restored to a brand new finish with 0 rust and be fully fuctional, and even if it did that camera today is so outdated it's barely worth anything. The end of the video is really the first part of it.

i think he replaced nany parts of this camera, just as a sample is the display, the display cracked but after washing it looked new and no more cracked... you tried to make others looking poolish but we knew that you replaced many parts... 😂😂 what the hack you did to the sensor, you cleaned it with tooth brush, it was crazy, u destroyed the sensor...

This is a "vintage" camera. Not an "antique" camera. Antique generally means something that is at least 100 years old. Awesome video though!! I enjoyed it thoroughly! I am a camera collector.

As a retired camera repair tech, I strongly suggest you not try this 'restoration' method at home. While his shenanigans make for entertaining content, I can assure you with 110% certainty (literally) tearing things apart and washing the body/lens in water while scraping delicate electrical components with a dirty toothbrush will not provide positive results. Obviously, most of you know this was beyond comical but there are always a few ...

Not only that it works 101% of the time, you get the added bonus of having the IR filter layer removed, thus getting the camera ready for astrophotography ;)

@Cee Stringz yes its paint, pay attention at that table at 11:00, the same yellowish color used to destroy the camera, as you can see the table has marks and cues to be used to paint stuff on it (probably other destroyed stuff from past videos), in the beginning, the camera was just briefly covered with mud just for the scene, as much he keeps manipulating it with his hands making it reveal the true yellow paint color, totally different from the actual mud from the place
In addition to his skill at what he does, I wonder how he manages to reassemble everything in its total complexity! Compliments!!

it is very interesting to see the assembling-de assembling process and the internal components :-) Perhaps make a channel about that? No need to fish the items out of the river. when even damp can destroy circuit connectivity ... it's going to take a little more than WD40 and soap to restore corroded boards, and flooded parts, these electronics look very clean (besides the lens mount shield) ... even the screws should be impossible to drive out of their sockets without breaking apart ... what are you doing exactly with the multimeter ... no need to be hitting the front element of the lens with your screwdriver ...

Данный канал несёт лишь развлекательный контент. Все действия в данном видео не имеют ничего общего с реальностью. Очень халтурная и неаккуратная работа. Я уже не говорю о том, что фотоаппарат оказался в идеальном состоянии)
фотик зеркальный из показанного на фото состояния не восстановить в принципе, там все сдохло и без специальных знаний и навыков это в принципе не реально. Людям видимо нравится смотреть ролики жанра фантастика) п.с. Он фоткает на зеркалку, в которой нету зеркала. Черная магия.
Как человек увлекающийся фотографией подтверждаю, зеркалку так не восстановить.
В начале видео задний экран разбит, в конце видео в идеальном состоянии)
Просто взял рабочую камеру, заснял её в концовке, потом извалял в говне и показал нам всё в обратном порядке.
Достаточно было увидеть камеру на обложке видео что бы понять что к чему… чушь еб..ая, нанёс хрень на пластик, повторюсь, на пластик!!!, похожую на ржавчину😀, сам закопал, сам нашёл, или утопил, я хз, не стал смотреть ))

el video esta hecho en reversa, la camara destruida es lo ultimo que se grabó en el minuto 11:02, esa mesa esta pintada con ese color amarillento, el mismo que se uso para ensuciar la camara, puedes notarlo cuando moja la camara destruida con agua aqui en el minuto 1:29, obviamente se se le cambio el matiz de color del video para que no se notara, a parte que en la mesa (la amarilla) se nota que se ha usado para pintar cosas sobre ella (probablemente otras cosas destruidas en videos anteriores) incluso puedes ver su color madera real rasgado... a parte que a los circuitos electronicos no se les echa agua , (sin mencionar que golpea el lente del foco con el destornillador sin razon, probablemente error de edicion ya que realmente lo estan destruyendo)

This is just an old camera in very good condition that has been chucked into mud. The condition of the battery connectors and other metal parts on the inside are testament to this. I have a 15 year old camera in my cupboard and the insides of it is in way worse condition than this camera. I'm just surprised that those circuits can take a good bath/shower. When the title said 20 years old antique camera I was expecting to see a film camera. Makes me realize how old I am now 😂

Impossible. because none of the parts are corroded. and if it is buried for that long, the black color will fade (a bit moldy & the color turns white), and the lens if it has been exposed to mildew will be difficult to clean.

The EOS 10D was brought into market 19 years ago. Assuming this is one of the very, very first cams (although the serial number shows that it isnt), that still doesn't make it 20. And yes I hate myself for commenting and pushing this video.
Lol, this is the fake'est restauration I've ever seen. In real life that "find" belongs to the trash can. There is no way that thing could be restored to a brand new finish with 0 rust and be fully fuctional, and even if it did that camera today is so outdated it's barely worth anything. The end of the video is really the first part of it.
That Canon was one hell of a risk to bother with. Total holy miracle to get controls, sd, or main board to have operated again after immersion.
i think he replaced nany parts of this camera, just as a sample is the display, the display cracked but after washing it looked new and no more cracked... you tried to make others looking poolish but we knew that you replaced many parts... 😂😂 what the hack you did to the sensor, you cleaned it with tooth brush, it was crazy, u destroyed the sensor...
