They just announced 15 new paintings: End Boss, Tides, Fern, Sunflowers, Katon, K Bird, Bouquet, Owl Lemons, Passage, Changing, Finding, Low Mist, Backyard, Pond, and Orb. (The names might be off; they only announced them in a Short where is was difficult to depict the names)
and theyre so beautiful too!!

You can put chests on llamas, so probably what was in the chests were getting deleted? Also if you tame the trader llamas they don't despawn
I think the inventory was getting shifted, which could lead to some items in the chest getting deleted because they were shifted out

I wish Mojang would do a massive update with new structures and features and other stuff and that they wouldn’t tell us anything we would all go in blind and all they would do is tell us there’s is a new big update it would be titled the”Mysterious Mess” update

@@TABiIIy unfortunately that'd be a lot of work and it'd get spoiled by social media pretty quick and it'd be REALLY hard to covertly bugtest. if you want an experience like that the best idea I have is to figure out a way for a friend to pack together some mods for you to explore without telling you what's in there
I believe "Riddles in the dark" is a reference to a chapter from The Hobbit where Bilbo is lost in a cave, finds Gollum, and the two exchange riddles.

You can actually keep trader llamas by taming them and giving them chests and/or giving them a carpet. Then they don't despawn. However, if you breed two of them you get a baby trader llama and if you are unlucky you don't have the time to tame it before it despawns.

And the new paintings are actually made by the guy who did the original Minecraft paintings, Kristoffer Zetterstrand. A legend returns.
Literally all they needed to do to redeem the ‘tinkering’ aspect was rework the flippin anvils already, that’s something everyone’s hurting for, something that woulda worked perfect for it, I just wish that had happened.
Honestly the Autocrafter feels like it’s meant for a different update
In the monthly update you can see a Fletching table a bit hidden on the left side on the screen. I think something is going to come (I hope they give it a use).
I will always respect mojang for actually finishing, updating, and ecpanding minecraft. They just kept going and haven't stopped. They never jumpped on the "keep remaking the game" trend. Like a minecraft 2, 3, etc... instead the just keep updating the same game and you dont have to rebuy it either or "unlock" by buying it.

8:14 The new music discs are most likely Creator (Copper orange disc), Creator (Music Box) (Copper green disc), and Precipice (Multicolored disc). This is because they're the last 3 songs in the soundtrack, which is always reserved for new music discs (see the OSTs for 1.16, 1.18, 1.19, and 1.20).
Not to mention the fact that those three tracks have a completely different sound from the others and don’t sound like songs that would randomly start playing in game
"Riddles in the dark" is a Lord of the Rings and Hobbit reference. It's the chapter about how Bilbo got the Ring from Gollum. So, either the trail chambers will have puzzles to solve; there's a chance of getting something that will turn you invisible; a Gollem-like creature lives in the trial as a mid-game boss I'm thinking the hide-and-seek kid merchant thing; or we can go full crazy: Dwarf villagers [called Chamburglars], Cave trolls iron golem sized earth colored zombie, or to go full LoTR: a fire dragonling or a Balrog.

@@dieselboy.7637 Tails and Tales are literally pronounced exactly the same, while Trials is similar in spelling but pronounced differently.
With the lowercase song titles, I'm guessing it was because they were originally written in Japanese (Kumi Tanioka is a Japanese composer, and for example yakusoku means promise and komorebi means sunlight filtering through trees) and whatever platform (or possibly mojang themselves) just wrote it out in romaji.

I've actually been collecting all the discs in my world. I have every single one. So having three discs is going to be very interesting if they all come from the vault or the ominous vaults what's going to happen is I'm not just going to be looking for The mace I'm going to be looking for those as well. Makes the exploration that much more worth it

4:47 Wattles. Every time a wandering trader spawns on my stream world I liberate the llamas from the trader and tame them. I put carpets on them depending on which project I want them to be a part of. THE UPDATE UNCARPETED ALL OF MY LLAMAS AND I'M LUCKY I ASO HAD THEM SORTED INTO PARTICULAR HOLDING PENS not to mention if I had a bunch of stuff in the chests on any of them, for transporting the items >:(

I wish you had taken a few seconds to look up how llamas work to include it in the video: right clicking a chest on a llama once tamed, gives 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 slots of inventory space. The amount of inventory depends on the llama, so you can breed them like horses to get ones with the maximum carrying load of 15. This is the inventory which could potentially get deleted.
5:05 when you breed them, they are persistant and use a chest on them, then you can use a lot of them to carry more items, even more than a donkey

Once they keep the pace of updates up, then I'll come back but man the wait between updates is too long for not enough
there was also a private dupe bug that they patched in 1.20.6 but didnt mention in the patchnotes
For me it’s little details that can make all the difference. Every new update excites me for something small about it, like a new flower, new painting, an animal, etc. It’s like, if this was the last big update ever i would still play MC until i die, but I’m always curious about what they’re thinking up next. Some say it’s too much and in some ways, i can agree with that. But they’re keeping it relevant and I personally have enjoyed everything thus far!

You can equip a chest on a trader lama, and that's how you can lose items. (Although, it is very rare to store valuables in a trader lama.)

komorebi, pokopoko and yakusoku are all Japanese, the composor is a Japanese composer. komorebi means "Sunlight filtering through the trees", pokopoko is an onomatopoeia for the sound a drum would make when you hit it, yakusoku means promise. (I googled these so some of them might not be accurate)
