India is currently in the process of developing its own 72-seater aircraft.
India stands on the cusp of pioneering its aircraft development, a potential reality in the near future. With the Indian aviation market poised to become one of the world's top five largest markets, there's a burgeoning demand for carriers like Indigo, Air India, and Akasa. Together, they've placed orders for over 1400 aircraft from Boeing and Airbus, marking one of the highest orders in the aviation industry.
'Made in India' passenger aircraft.
To transform the dream of a 'Made in India' passenger aircraft into reality and propel the local aerospace ecosystem, India requires a comprehensive National Aerospace Policy. The government has notably urged the establishment of final aircraft assembly lines (FALs) by Airbus and Boeing within India, driven by the substantial orders they've received.
India has exerted considerable pressure to establish assembly lines domestically, mirroring the success of similar initiatives abroad. With its aviation market growing at an unprecedented rate, India boasts the largest order book for new aircraft, estimated at a staggering $70 billion over the next decade. Existing airports bustle with travelers while new ones are either under construction or in the planning phase.
Great. India needed 72 and 90 seater civil aircraft yesterday. Already bulk local orders lost!
Respect from Turkiye
My country is blessed with the perpetual state of 'developing' in every area of interest.
Jet engine - ind needs to dev one immediately. GE is agreeing to tech transfer 80%. Need is for the remaining 20% - the crytal blade tech & metallurgy. This needs to be acquired if Safron of FR can gives we take it or if Rolls Royce would give we take it.
We've already mastered the scsa blade technology. Now the focus is on cmc.
Yes but not easy cause of metallurgy.
72 seater is a strategic move for inter India travel between short rides to remote areas & to support the new tourism industry to places like Lakshadweep & the many other islands am sure there will be a variant that can land & take off from sea.indias growing middle class wants to travel & experience India , it's vastness is like no other place on earth so they r flush with cash , young families & this type of aircraft will meet that demand along with tourism in general.
💪🇮🇳💪🕉️💪 Yes We Can. Excellent initiative. Incredible Bharat Jai Hind
I hope India start manufacturing larger planes too
Yes,it will be rapidly.
Japan’s commercial SpaceJet project failed to take off and had to be scrapped after spending USD100 billion in the project. I hope Indian commercial aircraft program will succeed.
Thank you for sharing 😊
One day it will happen , but it will take 20 to 25 yrs waiting when actual first flight to take place.
If u vote 4 Congress party. Not BJP rule. Be honest, what a development the BJP govt in the 10 yrs rule. Many unheard happy news 4 Indians. BJP compete with the world in development. Congress competes only with BJP.
I'm not concerned about which political party government is good to boost defence PSU manufacturing. My concern is towards HAL, DRDO delays it's projects. The funnest thing about them is HAL & DODO takes up every project which comes to it's way, & announce timeliness to complete those projects. But due to unknown reasons they keep on extending timeliness of those projects which leads to great delays to complete them. Below, I quote a proverb which suits them best DON'T PUT MORE IN YOUR MOUTH WHICH YOU ARE UNABLE TO CHEW
This is nothing new. This project has been going on for the last 15 years atleast, with a tragic accident debut of its prototype nearly 30 years ago. Nothing has changed since then and the project is being revived and revived with hope after hope to see its success.
That’s sickening 😢
Been listening to such rumors since I was a kid.
INDIA SHOULD DEVELOP 100+ SEATER PASSANGERS AIRCRAFT BECAUSE MINIMUM TRAFFIC ON AIRPORTS PER HOURS CAN BE COVERED. BULLET TRAINS CAN REPLACE FLIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR SHORT DISTANCES.
Excellent, but it may take 50 years ❤
Ha pessimistic 😢😢😢
It is not a hard thing. just change the surface of HAL Tejas.
Wonderful.
There is no news of this anywhere in the Indian media.
Indian media only publishes negative news about India 😊
Good to know but it’s all noises,ok let say PROJECTS..
Awesome
It looks similar to Piaggio P-190 avanti II
👍🙏🏻❤️🇮🇳
Why cannot one of HAL facility be immediately allocated for manufacturing 100 seater aircraft? It’s just a lack of initiative? Can any private co. get into it with government assistance?
Why should only HAL do it?
Ghas chilne wala initiative lega kya .
Sarkar me befkoof hain .Woh to ghas chilne walon se Fighter aircrafts banwane ki sooch rakhte hain .
Tata , Mahindra Ashok Leyland any body with technology transfer and in collaboration with earlier leading manufacturers can do it .. even half can participate if there is strong willing power 🎉
@@pratikjoshi4675technical know how, infrastructure and will power a must.
India is too late, to its Manufacturing Own plane
All the anti commentators hear are from Congress..😂😂😂😂😂
They have looted this country for almost 70 year now the thing are improving they not able see 😀
👍
Making an aircraft and engine is farmore difficult.Hence the emphasis on ISRO.
Same old news(wine or tharra)in new bottle.
Having market and having aircraft engine technology are two different aspect. India may have market due to population explosion, but India is technologically far behind developing its own aircraft engine technology. Ha!! What's the fun...?
Abhi tk 14 seater bhi nhi bnna payeh 😢
Congress just eat every opportunity we could have got!!
Well done, informative but hardly thrilling. Poor AI voice.
Ask Nambinarayan to develop it.😂😂😂😂
stupid they should have signed with embraer to get the 90 and 120 regional seater built here in india along with 190 seater E2 jets built under full TOT. Or even gotten the Russian MC-21 and the Super Sukhoi 100
Is this new political manifesto of Lok sabha elections 😂
china passenger plane C919 success for flight world wide & regonised. coming up C929.
Another PPT project
This is not khangress gov. This modi gov. If they decide the aircraft will ready to fly in end of decade
noone believe this
It will come too late to be of any use. Same old story.
Very low quality specs, low range and travel altitude.
The aircraft might crash on the first flight !!
Be positive.
😂😂india is too far to manufacture its own jetliner😁😁even china c919 is not 100% chinese😁😁😂
The Regional Jet blah blah has been going on since 2010. Nothing happened..and nothing is happening. No brainer.
Due to Congress😊
Inspired by China
Don't be ridiculous. Indian can't manufacture an engine of its own.
Be nice, plz don’t hurt people’s feelings.
India already developing high performance military jet engines. The gap for civil aviation will close fast.
Developing……. …. Yes it is matter of time until then.😃
Already have 45 kN core (DRDO). Also stfe engine also developed and proved recently (Godrej/DRDO). KMGT engine also under development. HAL already makes su30 engines in nasik, I think.
@@desibigfoot3874 su30 is a Russian design jet engine more than 1/2 dozen countries Air Force are using it right now.
All this bad situation is due to having technical illiterates at the top .
Why not make toilets wich are more importent for 80% of its nation
96% population already has access to toilets and sanitation. Please educate yourself first.
Garbage
