    • I did Wing Chun martial arts and volleyball in high school and college so I understand that physical conditioning and fitness is crucial for healthy living and relationships. Congratulations on the 700k subscribers 👏🎉. Physical conditioning and fitness is crucial for healthy life and relationships. Men are expected to lead in the relationship with her, take care of themselves physically/emotionally and psychologically as well as be self sufficient because Women like Men who are better than them in certain aspects but are Women deserving of Men? Roma Downey is another KZhead channel with content like this. I love an ideal Lady who's nowadays a borderline imaginary chick with brains and beauty who is kind , accountable for their actions and words and doesn't hate people 😭💔. I really respect Courtney Ryan for at least trying to help Men and Women out in promoting healthy relationships, positive mindsets and growth in individuals AMEN 🙏 ❤️. I'm a 24 year old single Christian virgin guy working as a teacher and counselor seeing unhealthy relationships in people occasionally despite being single myself because I'm succeeding alone in DA ZONE 😂. I've been watching Courtney's videos since 2021 so this lady's channel is really helpful especially on KZhead and social media. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

  • Im a 22 year old guy who started exercise, self discipline, doing things alone, doing something new (hobbies), and keeping self promises. I gained some internal validation through these things but i only began to regain my confidence through therapy and secondarily not giving a damn about others opinions. Now boys, these things wont mean you will automatically get a girlfriend. Thats what everyone said to me, but i guarantee you feeling adequate while single is better than not feeling confident.

  • As someone who has been going to the gym for 22 years now. I recently watched one guy that started going to the gym, somewhere around December of 2022 or January of 2023. Starting at 300+ pound range and just slowly watching his transformation throughout the year. When I asked him how much weight he had lost in late December, it was north of a 130 pounds. And this past Saturday himself, 2 other guys and myself were all doing a max bench press with slow negatives. He was trying to get 205 pound bench press, I bet he thought he would never be able to do that when he first started. The way he looks and his level of confidence is night and day from when he first stated, I wouldn't believe that the are the same person if i hadn't watched it myself. I personally love watching peoples transformations, his has just been the most mind blowing I've seen in person so far.

  • My new year's resolution was to clean my house every two weeks. I didn't realize how dirty my house was until I really started to clean it. It has boosted my confidence because now I don't have to worry when people come over. I'm always proud of myself when I'm done cleaning, it's really weird, I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much. There's a sense of relief afterwards, like, wow, look how clean my kitchen and bathroom looks, now I can relax. Or if something gets dirty, I know I'm going to clean it on a certain date, I don't have to stress about it.

I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

  • I can agree with what Courtney is saying here. I’ve worked out somewhat sporadically over the past few years but never overly consistent. I finally got consistent at the new year and WOW! What a difference it makes! I feel so much better about myself. I think a consistent workout routine is only the foundation, but boy does it sure help!

    • Physical strength is something older women (and men) often lack and good on you to get to dealing with that. Also dealing with grieving is tough though. One thing on that which has stuck in my mind is what an older woman told me. She said that her doctor had instructed her quiet sternly not to sit in her living room looking at the empty chair where her husband used to sit. She had taken that advice. My mother in law did the opposite. She gave up and physically deteriorated and has zero physical strength. She falls quite a bit and one day laid alone on the floor for six hours refusing to pull the emergency chord in her care home until somebody accidentally found her. Then spent two weeks in hospital. Its very sad and my wife does try to help her and care for her but she just refuses to accept help. In fact, my mother in law resents my wife and lies to her in order to avoid admitting she needs help.

  • Important things: 0:18 First Thing ÷ Self Discipline VS. Success; 3:31 Second Thing ÷ Actually Keep Promises To Yourself; 5:17 Third Thing ÷ Do Things Alone; 9:36 Fourth Thing ÷ Learn Something New; 10:55 Fifth Thing ÷ People Are Not Focused On You Or What You're Doing; 13:21 Sixth Thing ÷ Workout And Take Care of Yourself; and 15:01 to summarize all the told here. Additional advices could be these: Seventh Thing ÷ When someone says thing, don't take everything for granted (meaning to say that sometimes some people will say many things without knowing your situations); Eight Thing ÷ Practice Speaking Expressions (but this can be also partly a Fourth Thing ÷ Learn Something New), Ninth Thing ÷ Believe In Yourself; And Tenth Thing ÷ Help Yourself To Be A Better Person For Yourself. Important thing is not to listen about things what do people say such as these things: ,,This will be hard for you; There's no one who can help you; etc." Why? Because that's their opinion. You have to listen to yourself, and to find what suits you good, and what doesn't. When I was listening to you Courtney I remembered a couple of quotes that I saw them long time ago. And they go like this: 1. First quote goes like this: "Life begins when we step out of the zone of the known (some call it comfort zone) and to go into the unknown. 2. Second quote goes like this: "When someone else's opinion payed me (or getting me earning), then I will listen to it." Generally the conclusion of this video is this: Order, work and discipline always solves everything, and that goes in every life situations. And that goes to either men, and women. Thank you Courtney ❤💙🤍.

  • Just when I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong Courtney comes in to remind me I'm doing fine :) if nothing else it's nice to know things you think are normal are appreciated by others and not so easy. The biggest thing for confidence was realizing things like money, success, sex, relationships are the symptoms but not the illness so to speak. Once I shed expectations of people and chose to simply enjoy what they bring to the table it lead to friendship, relationships, success etc. Most things we want come from forging bonds with others and growing to become a good kind person.

They often go on holidays with their spouse/partner or have come back from honeymoon. I'd feel left out as I never had these experiences being alone, but one day I realised that jyst because I am not in a relationship this should not let that stop me from living my life and seeing the world. I took the leap and decided to go traveling on my own and feel better for it. Even when my friends find out and look down on me saying narrow-minded stuff like "Oh how can you go traveling without someone to share it with". I would used to let stuff like that bother me, but now I DGAF. I feel way better for it. So can 💯 relate to this video. Great job CR!

  • point 2 can't be stressed enough. the failure to do what you said you're going to do kills us in the most subtle ways and so many of us don't realize it. every time we give up the "resolutions" or "life hacks" or whatever we think we learned in a KZhead self improvement video, our subconscious mind is registering "i am a joke; I don't take myself or my word seriously, therefore i will live in a way where nobody will take me seriously" and we proceed to wreck our own lives without ever knowing why. i suggest to anyone else struggling with this self destructive habit, look into self-abandonment or self-neglect for help defining it and getting control over it. it's mostly rooted in childhood trauma we've never resolved, but part of being a man is taking responsibility for our issues to fix them, regardless of who or what caused them in the first place thanks for the reminder to keep my word to myself and to others. and the point about doing things alone, i always thought of myself as someone who's good at this because i go to movies and events alone all the time. but listening to you reminded me that there is one thing i always say "i only sit and do that if I'm with someone": watch movies or shows at home. i hate sitting and watching stuff by myself, specifically when I'm home. so I'm going to start putting on a movie by myself once in a while just to bust that whole idea I've been holding onto. probably sounds stupid that this is an issue for me haha but honestly a lot of times that's how it is with our issues

While some people are naturally more confident than others, it is still a skill that can be learned by virtually everyone. You are probably going to be bad at first at all six of the things listed by Courtney. Practice is the only way to get better.

I put my mind to self-discipline to eating right and returning to my running. Over the 4 years, I went fro 300 to 166 pounds, and have completed my 19th and 20th marathons after the blood clot. No drugs, no fad diets, just eating better, eating less and working out more. Self-discipline helped me to control my diet and get out the door when the weather wasn't always great or if I wasn't feeling it. It hasn't helped my self-confidence any, but it has changed my life.

I needed lunch and went to a simple noodle bar where a lot 'salary men' office workers were queuing outside. They were being called in to sit at long trestle tables wherever a space appeared. I joined the queue and I eventually got called in the men around me of course knew I had no idea what to order so they helped me. It was a good meal and very cheap and people were very friendly. Japan is a great country and especially if you are respectful and learn a few phrases. My wife has spent a lot of time there. They make great pasta if you don't like typical Japanese food.

  • Thanks for the video Courtney. I’ve always struggled with and still struggle with my confidence. I think I might really try BetterHelp. I feel like I somewhat check off everything you listed, except talking to someone regularly about my thoughts and feelings. I feel like that’s what I might be missing nowadays too

  • Travel solo is my favorite. I can stop whenever i want , go to a place i want and anytime without a person complaint. My friends always says they want travel but ended up not going because they cant find a friend to go and waste a bunch of opportunities to go.

  • One thing I had to learn as a divorced man is self discipline and learning how to go to places by myself. It was hard at first but now I really enjoy it. I even took a solo vacation to the Bahamas and it was nice just being on my own schedule. It can be lonely sometimes but it has its pros and cons. I definitely feel more confident than ever before.

  • Much of Courtney talked about today parrallels what other YT moderators are telling men to improve themselves. Included are hitting the gym for regular workouts, improving job skills and taking on new assignments at work, building confidence in public speaking (toastmasters) or leading a volunteer effort in the community. Establishing a good network of friends that can support you.

  • I'm a big advocate for traveling alone. If it's within your means, seeing the world is a great boost to confidence. I'm a huge introvert with little self confidence, but traveling alone never ceases to put a smile on my face. It still allows you your alone time to recharge, but grants you the ability to see new places. I've been to many countries alone, and my next alone trip is a 10 hour drive to Boston. There is no compromise when traveling alone, because you are doing it for you!

  • I'd like to add... Learn to do things WITH people too. My first tendency is to do things alone... Like everything alone. But reflecting on it, I feel like it stems from my tendency to isolate, which stems from my lack of self-confidence (I was bullied as a kid and since have a fear of letting people get to know me, so I tend to be a loner). For me, a much bigger confidence boost might be INVITING someone to the movie I was planning on seeing alone. For anyone who feels like they resonate with this, I think it's worth a thought.

  • For some reason I always get that little thought in my head that as soon as leave the room people are going to talk shit especially since i see it happen to other people all the time. Yes you're right people are more preoccupied with their own shit but that don't mean people aint gonna talk shit

  • 👍 Was in Japan (the first time) by myself without wife (as she was pregnant) on a semi-business/conference trip some years ago when I travelled first to Tokyo (2 days) before heading down south to Kanazawa where I had stayed over 5 days at the conference (with social events and great dinners) . Wonderful experience which I still remember most details after so many years! Moral of the story/experience: if one wants to go far, go alone. (Buddha)

  • Traveling solo is a great confidence booster. You're completely on your own and it kind of forces people to socialize with people.

  • I’ve been doing stuff on my own since I was 19. I’m 21 now and I’m still doing things by myself. It was hard at first cuz going about things on my own would make me anxious but I’ve gotten more comfortable with it now. But yeah it seems to me that people are very reliant on others

  • Three months ago I decided to get off of social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram. Although I enjoyed connecting with friends and family on those platforms, I wanted to focus on more human-to-human interactions. I’ve also incorporated a healthier lifestyle, and actively working to getting my autism-induced anxiety under control.

  • great Video, I can't find anything for the situation where someone used to be interested a while back but you missed the signals/wasn't ready for the commitment and they don't seem interested now! Is it that hopeless that no one makes videos about it? 😁

  • The only source of confidence anybody needs is rock solid discipline. It melts away any anxiety or depression you have. It’s something you have to follow through with to truly understand how good it feels.

  • Japan is a great place to be solo. Tokyo is safer than any US city. Plus it's super interesting with very friendly people.
