"About Time" is still one of my favourite chick flicks of all time, and it has the added bonus of time travel. I liked that while romantic love is depicted, it has more of a focus on the love shared between family, particularly Tim's relationship with his dad.
Me too. About time is my favorite. Hands down
"About Time" guts me every time, in the best possible way. It's such a beautiful story, and hits very close to home for me. ❤
"A Walk To Remember" is my favourite Sparks adaptation. I just love Shane and Mandy's chemistry, as well as the line "Our love is like the wind. I can't see it, but I know that it's there." 🥺
My personal top 5: 5. The fault in our stars 4. Bridget Jones 3. Love Rosie 2. Pride and Prejudice 1. About Time
To me titanic is the best romantic movie of all time.
The Notebook takes it for me 😢😭.
I'm so thrilled you put About Time as your cover!
Forget Meg Ryan or Julia Roberts - turns out America's Sweetheart is Ryan Reynolds!
It's okay, he's Canadian! Julia and Meg can keep their top spots lol
A Walk to Remember is a classic! 💚💯
This might be my favorite video so far! Many of my favorites on this list! Thx Ms.MoJo!🤗
How come Love Actually is 30. It is easy top 5
A walk to remember is such a beautiful movie and yet so sad and so refreshing 😢😊
The Longest Ride and A Walk To Remember are two of my favorites.
I cannot believe Something's Gotta Give is not on here!! It's such a beautiful love story
One of my all time faves!
''Definitely Maybe'' is my fabrotie romcom of the century.
I tou cried in the end of the movie !! Damnn
Penelope deserves an honorable mention
One of my favorite romance movies ever is The Longest Ride, another Nicholas Sparks movie! It’s so freaking amazing & makes me cry HARD! While I totally get behind the Notebook & its impact still, I feel sometimes the Longest Ride surpasses it a tiny bit but that’s just a personal preference! So many good picks on here! 🙌
I have a list of my top 14 Romance Movies 😂 I don’t think I have 30. But I absolutely love the ones that are on my list. 1. Titanic 2. Moulin Rouge 3. 1985 Anne of Green Gables movie series 4. The Princess Bride 5. The Time Traveler’s Wife 6. Sense and Sensibility (1995) 7. Pride and Prejudice (1995) 8. When Harry Met Sally 9. Notting Hill 10. The Notebook 11. Pretty Woman 12. Dirty Dancing 13. Cinderella (2015) 14. Sleepless In Seattle
What a great list❤
I watch pride and prejudice monthly. Absolutely my fav
Top of my head While You Were Sleeping 13 Going On 30 Enchanted Bridget Jones 1,2,3 Life As We Know It Love Actually The Holiday Kate and Leopold The Proposal A Walk To Remember Dear John The Notebook The Longest Ride.
In my case, it's La La Land. Happy friday afternoon, Rebecca. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The greatest showman and Jumanji
They're not romance movies.
@@kamsismith are too
Where's Wall-E?
I'm sorry but the 1995 mini series is a much better version of Pride and Prejudice than the 2005 movie. It just doesnt compare
I understand where you’re coming from, I really do, but watch it again. It’s one of the best movies ever made. The locations, cinematography, acting are incredible, and the little moments like the zoom on the hand. The tension is unreal. The miniseries is better for the amount of content, and I adore Colin Firth, but this one is better in so many different ways.
About Time should be waaaaaay higher on this list, seriously.
About Time is my very favorite here!!
Carol is not in my category of romance
In the list, my top re-watched are: The Holiday, Serendipity and Notebook. So many Nicolas Sparks should have been on this list.
Love and Basketball
i love the holiday so much 🤍
I saw Before Sunrise when it first came out. I was surprised and delighted when Before Sunset arrived in 2004. I saw it on the first day of release. Before Midnight left me wondering if a fourth film might be coming…..someday
Romance movies are not a favorite genre of mine, never heard of some but Solid list. HER was fascinating, Broakback, beautiful, but I cry like a baby thru the end repeatedly, La La Land a fun adventure. Silver Linings Playbook, my favorite film this century, Eternal Sunshine my favorite film of all time❤️
I saw The Holiday for the first time with my mom a few months ago. I loved it! It was so cute!
What was your favorite moment of the movie?
@@MsMojo Oh I can’t remember. It’s been too long since I’ve seen it and I’ve only seen it once. But I do remember thinking it was a fun, cute movie
Chasing Liberty 😢
There should be more movies with Jack Black as a love interest. He is great 😍
Bradley Cooper has an amazing singing voice.
Penelope (2006).
Hopes that the before trilogy will be mentioned…skips to 10 seconds and sees the before sunset scene 🤣
Nothing tops Pride and Prejudice and especially THE NOTEBOOK.
500 Days of Summer doesnt overuse the manic pixie dreamgirl trope, it deliberately dissects it.
The F word/What if deserves more recognition. The amount of people who haven't heard of that movie is sad.
tqm moulin rouge my no. 1 forever 😢
I would exchange Love Actually and La La Land. I didn't get the appeal of that movie or Before Sunset!
I love LLL. It is an homage to the song & dance movies of the 1930’s-1950’s. It is analogous to “Silverado” for cowboy movies. It is sad to me that people don’t realize that we get a happy ending. It is packaged in a different manner, I watch romcoms a lot. They are like science fiction movies. Interesting but it is never going to happen. Happy endings are, after all, only in the movies. Sometimes. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
A lot of the movies mentioned in the comments were not from this century. We are barely into the new century.
Love Actually The 40 year old Virgin 50 First Dates Blended A Star Is Born La La Land Mamma Mia 1 & 2
I love the Hallmark movie the Christmas card
What about The Fault In Our Stars . It's a shame you didn't put in this
My Favorite Romance Movie of the 21st Century so far is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010).
What about 13 going on 30 or Enchanted??????
I have wondered if the next “Star is Born” will be released in the 2040’s?
The Cranes Are Flying
1. Jurassic park 2. Dragon ball z 3. Texas chainsaw massacre
You need medication. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
Dangerous Beauty from 1998... little known, incredibly romantic. Not really comedic but has that.."ah, sigh.." ending.
Not really 21st century either. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
I've never even heard of this #1 pick - I was sure it was Titanic! Turns out that film is from 1997 - so you are forgiven.
Why is there no '10 things I hate about you'???
I guess because it’s in 1999, the last century. I do agree that it’s great, though.
🌸 "I Want To Eat Your Pancreas" (2018)
Yup
Younare not realy Romance movie fan , if you haven't seen all of the movies on the list 😊
Titanic isn’t on the list? Insanity.
It was made in the 90s-the last century.
🎬🎞🎥🧙🏻♂
I've not heard of most of these, let alone watch them. Of the ones that I have heard of, I've seen fewer. They don't do a great job of selling them.
Or you aren’t attracted to this genre of movie. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
@@martingreenberg870 Not my favorite but I do enjoy a good romance (loved Pride and Prejudice). My biggest issue with romantic movies is if the people would just communicate properly the movie would be over before it starts so it ends up feeling contrived. Serendipity is a great example of a movie that never needed to happen if the characters hadn't behaved in a completely contrived manner.
Recently I would have to say Red White and Royal Blue
No Notting hill? No Shakespeare in love? Damnnn
Neither of them are from this century
@@saimcheeda93 fuckkkkk I'm that old?????
Re-cast Ms Paltrow and I'll give you Shakespeare in Love..
