  • fun fact (I just learned this 20 min ago) the Romans put in a false tongue sometimes in their caligea. 2 prs were found in Germany with them laced in.

  • I’d like thicker kilties offered in the 11” height please, no skiving them down I like them as thick as possible, I would love to get some scrap rough out from nicks to maybe make some of my own .. any options online to purchase some of that scrap leather? Thanks keep up the great videos..

    • @@evergreenorganics Sadly they don't, I even emailed them and asked them if they could ship a couple pieces of scrap leather with my boots. Said no, they only offer it in store ATM. Might change later.

  • My experience the "heritage style" has a tendency to mar or scuff the top of the boot were it meets the at the top of the toes. Do to the "fringe's" the other styles are not as ridged or give more. Therefore not marking the area were it meets the boot at the bottom of the laces. (MTO55 8" WC Double -NAT)
