Speaking of deserts, I've always noticed the fact that the deserts represented in Minecraft are American deserts, because they have cacti, plants characteristic of the deserts of the New World. It would be nice if the game also had cactusless deserts, which are more characterized by high dunes and camels crossing them by, like in the Sahara desert, the most famous desert in the world. But I have nothing against American/Australian deserts represented in Minecraft. To be fair, it would be also nice to diversify the cacti in the game: add branched cacti variant, as well as prickly pear cacti in the badlands (which depict American deserts the most). (and replace ceramic with separate blocks type of rocks that match them in color, as is done in Dungeons, lol)
