ABOUT BON APPÉTIT
Bon Appétit is a highly opinionated food brand that wants everyone to love cooking and eating as much as we do. We believe in seasonal produce, properly salted pasta water, and developing recipes that anyone can make at home.
I will never complain how much eating hand made chocolates costs again.
😆👍
Same!!
Anything that is handmade. Time consuming with the infusion of special intent.
I'll make them myself before I pay for them My budget only allow a bag of semisweet chocolate baking chips and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon
@@fancyincubus that sounds like a pretty great night in to me 😊
Can we get more videos with this guy? His narration is heavenly.
this man respects the chemistry.
This man cant define what an emulsion is, you must be American.
@@ljubomirjuraj9658 Define an emulsion.
@@Sammy-S an equally mixed, suspended-particle, semi-fluid.
@@ljubomirjuraj9658 Okay buddy
@@vladimirpoutine4140 I was asking the dude who I replied to, but I know what it is xD I appreciate the thought though.
I absolutely LOVED this! I wish there was a regular series just on the expertise of a master chocolatier. I could have watched him all day. Well done!
Theres a chef that offers professional chocolatier classes. I’ve bought a few courses and they are A+, her name is Melissa Coppel if you’re ever interested
You should check out Amaury Guichon, his channel is amazing
but chocolate that the "ordinary" person can make.... and afford to make....
The way he speaks like he's telling us a story is wonderful. Please get more videos with him
i studied under a Callebaut master chocolatier when i was taking my pastry chef course. it was phenomenal the art and detail that was taught. it forever made me meticulous with regard to mise en place, patience and finesse when it came to creating. this was a joy to watch - thanks Bon Appetit
I was thinking of going to some of their courses, but i think it's a shame that they only show a couple of recipies. And it's a bit expensive in my country. I think maybe online courses are better. Not sure.
Masters of their craft make something look so easy to make yet knows it takes years and years of repetition and practice. This video is awesome.
Good point
What a fabulous presentation of this man's love, passion and respect for his craft. 🙏
Powerful Michael Laiskonis. I've been following his career since 2004 and there's not even a slightly negative thing I can say about him. Truly one of the greatest minds and an incredibly humble human being. Thank you Michael
Is that the chef's name?
@@cheekschu2152 Yes
This is exactly the type of stuff I come to youtube for. Dude is a master.
i would LOVE a chocolate series. i want to learn this so badly
Thought I was the only one with this yearning! I AM doing it.😊
This is a masterpiece u can tell it’s his passion and kudos to the editor perfectly edited
One of the top chocolate videos I've seen and I've seen many
I love how into detail he explains every part pf the process.
I learned how to temper chocolate the same way and it's so nice to see an incredible professional going old school in a very elegant way
I make handmade chocolates for my family every Christmas and I love working with chocolate, These recipes look incredible. I definitely want to try the nougat one for sure. Thanks so much for sharing. Lee :)
You can use marshmallow to make nougat.
One of the most relaxing yet awe-inspiring food videos I’ve watched. This guy is awesome and so informative 👏
He is awesome. Those were some beautiful bonbons, I am in love. Now I want to binge-watch all videos with him in it
Whenever someone breaks out the actual vanilla bean, you know they’re serious.
This is awesome and SO helpful! Please get more people like him on the show!
I loved watching the chef creating chocolates by hand! Some of my favorite jobs have been my chocolatier jobs where I got to play with really high quality chocolate all day and creating new flavors 😊❤
I absolutely admire chef Laiskonis, been a huge fan of his since my apprenticeship days. His pastry skills are a sight to behold. I hope you make more videos showcasing his talents.
that was a quick seminar for the upcoming chocolateurs...thank you so much
Soo many techniques learned and ideas started to blossom, wow. what a amazing video! thanks Mr. Laiskonis and BA!
loved it. his accuracy is so calming and a pleasure to watch!
Now that’s what I call a labour of love. He’s an artist.
A true artisan! I wish I could do something this well with this level of detail.
Something about the process of making these chocolate treats is very interesting to me, love this vid!
Thank you for explaining every detail and making it feel so accessible. 👌🏼💜
Bonbon = "good good" 😋

I will always thank this side of KZhead, who knows when I could've encountered something like this if im only working at one place.
We need more video with this man , I listen to his voice and watch the video and it’s so relaxing
I always wondered how they made those chocolates. Thanks for all the information.
Such an amazing video. I learned so much and really appreciated and enjoyed his description and voice.
Fantastic immersion into the world of a true master. Absolutely mesmerizing. A+++. Please have him back, many times. He's "creative" director - is he ever! Would love to see his creative take on Christmas candy, Valentines treats or even Halloween. 😘
this was incredible i wish Michael nothing but happiness
It's magic. So beautiful.
Awesome video! It is one of the rare videos that covers the process end to end on a really high level. It's only missing the actual proportions but excellent otherwise. I've been making chocolate for a few years now and can tell his technique and understanding is spot on. Have to try the nougat next!
Yummy, I adore chocolate, so this video is a double treat! 🍫😋
This is inspiring me to bake my own chocolate candy I mean this is some serious dedication to your own craft
Yeah this guy is amazing, please make some more videos with him
Thank-you! This was really a lovely video! Passing on the knowledge of how to make beautiful luxurious candies is very nice of you.
