My '91 does this. I've taken it everywhere, but nobody seems to know for sure. I've replaced almost everything I can think of. I think I'm going to try the coolant sensor like the other person commented on.
Hey I’m In the same boat you were two years ago. Did the coolant sensor fix it. I thought I had tried everything!
ECM,throttle position sensor, & intake air flow sensor ....
My 92 caprice was doing the same thing when I changed the motor blower but I figured it out and it was the ECM. Cost about 115 dollars.

Wrong my baby blue 92 caprice is doing this my old tech old school scanned it and it was the map sensor behind the mass air flow trust if the map sensor goes bad car wont stay on very long because it communicates with the ecm
fixed mine it was coolant sensor on int@ke
Having this same problem with my caddy Fleetwood with the same engine. I replaced fuel filter, pump, and the iac sensor... the shop telling me about the ecu now
So what was it?
It may be vacuum leak
I know this is old but I've got an 89 (same tbi setup etc) tried almost everything. She especially likes to die when warm as soon as I put in any drive gear did the 92 do that too?
Did you change the distributor out?
Control module does that
I Have a 1988 chevy caprice classic it ran fine until I got a full tune up yesterday I change out the spark plugs /wires air filter distributor replacement fuel filter , change cap/rotor now its stalls out ... took back to the place where it was tune today they adjusted some things but after a short period of time the car started stalling again losing power .... did you ever find out what was happing with yours

my 91 caprice doing same thing got new everything ecc pump iac tps tcs filters map ..runs for a minute then shuts off

Same now w/my '91 - they're telling me floating valve issue & rebuild of engine😳🙏

My 91 did the same thing would run then cut off.
I am having that problem now with my 92 caprice. Did you ever figure out the problem?
matthew sonye I believe he fixed the ECU and the injectors
Throttle position sensor , & ECM ... used a scanner & showed the codes..
I tried literally everything. I’m about to just burn the car down
😂😂 me right now but im hanging in there. Working on a 92 Buick roadmaster, idles rough hesitates then stalls out but still taking part by part
