  • I crashed my Harley 6 months ago at 20mph while wearing full gear. Broke 5 ribs, my sternum, and collar bone. Also punctured a lung with a broken rib. My collar bone still hurts. Still sore when I get out of bed. How does this man crash this much and still get up and still able to compete at elite level? Amazing. What a legend.

    • i crashed about 3 to 4 weeks ago on a underbone motorcycle going 30mph wearing shorts and a shirt and only got scraches on my knee and i absolutely cannot believe it that my face did not get involved, it was a rookie mistake braking hard at the front with no ABS on a sandy cement road so yeah lucky i guess.

  • 18:50 - I have sympathy. I came off a bike 20 odd years ago. I may have been speeding a teeny bit. I had a custom Aria lid that cost me 1800 quid. So I'm lying on a stretcher with a broken arm, broken leg and fractured pelvis. Paramedics are pumping me full of stuff. I woke up in hospital 4 hours later. I didn't really know what happened. Question 1 : "What happened?" You came off your bike at speed and went through a wall. You have damaged yourself quite badly but nothing life threatening. Question 2 : "Did I scratch my helmet?" Question 3 : "Is the bike wrecked?" Question 4 : "umm - has anyone told my wife yet. Don't scare her."
