Diving with Tigers, Hammers, and Bulls at Tiger Beach in the Bahamas with Shark Diver Magazine aboard the Dolphin Dream Liveaboard.

Just in regards to some of the comments... You're actually safer underwater with these guys than swimming at the surface. Being at the bottom takes away their ability to sneak up under you. Maintaining eye contact also keeps them in check. They only test you when you're not looking. They also can't swim backwards, so if you just redirect them, they keep on moving. As far as the rolling goes, they do that entirely on their own. It's physically impossible for a human to flip over a 1,500 lbs. animal with just a couple fingers. One last thing, once the bait is gone, they scatter and want nothing to do with us. And it's never nearly enough food or often enough to disrupt their normal behavior. Anyways, enjoy!

You know the reason for those clear waters is there's not a lot of nutrients in the water to support life. There's very little micro life in the water. Most of the ocean is biologically a desert. Its only in certain areas that we see them teaming with life. Mostly at the mouth of rivers, and where strong waters currents that move nutrients from one area to another.

Yeah I'm amazed they can still swim. Interacting with the most dangerous species on the planet has got to take some pretty big balls. Those sharks are so brave.

They look so happy and playful. The hammer head looks like he's smiling. I love how there are different types of sharks all hanging out together.

I saw a video where a woman literally put her hand inside a shark mouth to get rid of a huge hook in its mouth. Despite the pain, the shark kept its mouth open and twisted and turned visibly in pain, yet it never closed its mouth during the entire process. It was like the shark knew what the woman was doing. I've never seen such a symbiotic relation between a human and a shark; it was a matter of total trust from both sides. 💖👍🦈
This reminds me of the relationship between some type of shrimp and fish. The shrimp cleans the mouth and gills of the fish while the fish stays still. Some sharks allow this if they trust the human. The woman might have been feeding them for quite some time and develops the same relationship as the fish and shrimp's. Was it also the same woman that after quite some time, more and more sharks seeks her aid whenever they have hooks on?

I never realized how "toothy" hammerhead sharks were. Damn, looks like a meat grinder.
Shape of teeth show their eating behaviors. Hammer head eat mostly off bottom why their teeth pointing out n down while tigers will attack at head height and saw back and fourth and a great white. Just fucks u up. Dont get in their way

I feel weird saying that I get some sort of comfort watching theses graceful, yet dangerous, and beautiful, curios creatures in the water.
Hammerheads are some of the strangest looking creatures on the planet. Edit: strange, yet beautiful. The way that they’ve evolved is fascinating.

Wow, this literally brought tears to my eyes, it’s my ultimate dream to dive with sharks. They are such majestic and beautiful animals and so sadly misunderstood and feared. Don’t get me wrong they are dangerous and perfect predators but they deserve respect and care and really they don’t want to harm us, we’re too bony lol.
What’s stopping you? Diving with sharks is awesome. They’re the calmest most chilled out animals I’ve ever met.

@@barbaramoro4814 In order for there to be fewer such "innocent" attacks of these monsters on humans in the world, it is necessary to defend against these wonderful beautiful creatures: destroy them in the slime of the shores or somehow scare them away or put nets on the beaches. And any animal that attacks a person is killed.

Damn these are magnificent and terrifying creatures at The same time. I love them and fear them. I think it's called respect. Something every human being should have for all the creatures cause they just like us.
I went diving with 10 sharks the other day on my open water course. They are one of those animals that are so relaxed and chilled out that they instantly calm you down. I was a bit unsure how I’d feel before I saw them but the moment you see one it’s instantly calming.
@@jasontownsend9460 you can tell their not being overly aggressive from one clue.....the divers are still there lol. If they really want to do harm we don't stand a chance with one never mind a group

I used to do this when I dove in the Sea of Cortez, and in the Gulf. Sharks are a great fish and deserve respect. Tigers are just like puppies when you pet and scratch them. They absolutely love it.

Mind blowing!! These men are so brave, they seem to really understand the sharks behaviour. I only wish they could speak to us while filming so we could understand how they know when the shark is going in to attack.

They are just misunderstood creatures. Just like wolves they won't harm you unless you give them a reason to.
Yes but wolves are way less scarier because we have more control on land.
Curiosity and being hungry are two reasons they can have for harming us that we didn't give them.
@@seansundeck3912 Even if they were curious, there are ways of protecting yourself from a shark within the water. Just aim for the nose and rub your thumb beneath it, that will calm them.
As a aspiring marine biologist this video has reminded me why I want to work with these amazing animals
I was excited to work as a laborer for the EPA. Figured the Environmental Protection Agency would, you know, protect the environment. Turns out the job mostly involved spraying poisons, running chainsaws, pouring concrete, and putting up barbed wire. You know. The typical environmental protection stuff. Every once in a while a biologist would stop by to say hi to us common laborers, soon returning to their job of composing reports. Which was, as I understood it, mostly just to couch our activities in the appropriate language so that it would all look good on paper. So, have fun being a biologist. Marine or otherwise.

Most of those “bites” look more like exploratory curiosity than anything. Like a toddler or puppy lol.

Yeah it's what they do 😂. But it's 10x scarier to be bitten because we're in the waters, chances of survival is lesser than when we're on land.

I dived with a bunch of sharks on my open water course. They are the most chilled out relaxing animals I’ve ever met. I mean, I’m sure not all sharks are like that (looking at you oceanic white tip) but most are I think.
The more aggressive types are territorial and warns 2 to three times before biting. People often overlook the warning signs that's why some get bitten.
Amazing video! On my dive list to interact with these beautiful creatures before I hang up the fins.
