  • I was amazed at how many shark species there were, not being familiar with most of them, but halfway through the video I realized they were including extinct species along with existing ones. Designating that would be helpful on this video. The Megalodon with the human next to it was interesting. If they existed now we probably would have little to fear from them, since a human wouldn't even be a snack for one. They would go after MUCH larger marine life, mainly whales.

  • I think the blue shark and oceanic white tip shark would have been nice to see, the former being actually one of the most common sharks and looks pretty elegant. Also most of the video wasn't really 3D.

  • Some of these sharks I have never heard of. But once I saw the Megladon, I thought some of these are extinct. 😅 Still very cool to see these, some are creepy definitely makes you not want to go in the ocean. 😖😬

    • yeah when i saw 16 for tiger i knew this list wasnt very accurate females often get up to 16 feet long i think some have been recorded over 20 , great whites are accurate for an average large shark but have exceeded 22 feet on record.

  • Good thing that basking and whale sharks are filter feeders, and *don't* have wider throats. Imagine *if* either of them *did* have throats big enough. *If* there were videos of people swimming into the mouth either one.

    • . Largest whale shark was 18.8 feet, yes, but you cannot use the largest ever as basis for all of an animal. Most were around 25 feet which is not 18 meters. Most megalodons are believed to be around 18 meters max. Sorry if this came off as rude in any way, I’m a bit annoyed (not at this comment, about other stuff). So you are half right. Overall though the Meg is bigger.

  • I thought that the Megalodon was supposed to be MUCH larger than any other shark that ever existed. Dwarfing any and all other sharks. But in reality, (from what you’re saying) we do actually have sharks currently on this earth that are pretty close to it in terms of size… Of course, the megalodon has that unique, absolute mad furious look to it, which makes it wayyy more nightmarish. But, if we’re only talking about size, then it’s not that much longer than other species…

  • Most Great Whites aren't that big. 6 meters? Seems like a Fisherman's Tale or in the least an exaggeration. Deep Blue is likely the biggest Great White ever caught on cameara and she's seriously large but she's got way more girth than length doubt she's 6 meters long. You're more likely to find a Great Hammerhead close to 19 feet than a Great White that big. Most aren't much bigger (length wise) than the biggest Tiger Sharks
