It's all they have is a lie that there is something that we aren't allowed to know that will exonerate them. It's to give their fans something to stop them leaving and losing money for promoter and fighter.

Marc Ramsay, Rivas coach, is still waiting for the results of the B sample btw, more than 4 years after the fight. Hearn is the biggest joke of a hypocrite promoter in boxing, nobody in the business respects him but they have to deal with him because he has too much power and influence in the UK.

  • Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks like he has rocks under his skin.

  • Beterbiev has been enrolled in VADA for yonks. It's the world's best anti-doping regime. He's never had an adverse finding and 'atypical' findings are actually quite common in combat sports for the reason Dom outlines - fasting and intense training release the hormones. Does Beterbiev strike you as the kind of guy who doesn't train hard? He competed at cruiserweight as an amateur for Christ's sake. He walks onto the scale with a BMI of 5%. He doesn't drink or smoke. He's always been a murderous puncher and is still the only guy to drop Uysk. I could go on, but I can't be fucked.

The reality is that British fighters aren’t as dedicated to compared to others from another country. Russians and neighbouring countries are really dedicated when it comes to sport. I’ve seen it how competitive they are even when it’s just a friendly kick around in the park. I’ve seen how dedicated they are when they are even playing volleyball lol. Going back to Beterbiev, people need to realise that the guys from Dagestan or Chechnya are built differently. I’ve got a few friends from there. They are the most humble and respectful people I have met and very loyal friends and at the same time, I wouldn’t wanna mess with them that’s for sure.

  • When Tony beat Makabu he wasn't even champion it was a vacant title, the same as when he won the commonwealth, European and British every belt he ever won was vacant, anytime he fought a real champion he came up short.

    • Yea the likes of Bellew, Callum Smith, Carl Frampton among others are truly people who were never supposed to be champs but were made champs like Ingle said. They benefited greatly being Englishmen and thus enjoyed getting huge financial and political support to get them those chances, them vacant title fights, ... just to get obliterated in legacy fights. Then they rubbed each other's back and said "well it's unfortunate we came up just short" lmao. The same can be said for boxers from other countries that have big boxing fanbases like the US and Mexico

  • Bellew has got a BIG GOB! Go in the ring and tell Beterbiev what you think about him! Disrespectful! People from that part of the world live for martial arts, be it boxing or MMA. They're not down at the pub with their mates when no ones looking. He shouldn't be a pundit because he's sooooooooo BIASED!!! 👊🏾

  • Dom's spot on and Tony Bellew is out of line on Beterbiev, i.m.o. Tony favours his English mates. Smith is not in the same league as Artur Beterbiev. Top boxers, like Crawford, Inoue, Bivol and Beterbiev, give their entire being to boxing. They're not sitting down at the 'Rovers Return' for a pint. They are the navy seals, the green berets, the generals. Deal with it.

    @lindawoods6687@lindawoods66873 ай бұрын
  • I don't know why Bellew has a job with Sky? He doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time. I remember some years ago, him saying about Jorge Linares, "Linares often struggles going the distance" (paraphrasing quote) at that time Linares had only ever gone the distance once!! 😂

  • So Smith did shit in the super series until he had a one armed Groves in front of him and has done absolutely nothing of note since that night. I'm surprised for that reason that the Bell End was so astounded by Beterbiev winning every single round just like Canelo did after Ryder whupped Smith's arse. Smith has never been world level despite the strap status.
