@@michaelgriffiths7937 Challenger SRT8 has more Power Now and a bigger engine it went from a 6.1L 425HP engine to 6.4L 485HP, an 8 Speed if you get the Auto and Magnetic Ride Suspension is also an Option now, Also there is no more SRT unless you get the Hell Cat, so this would be more akin to a R/T 392 Scat Pack with the T/A or 1320 Package. Honestly the Modern Challengers even with just the Non Adjustable Bilstein Suspension handle decently now.
It's funny how Clarkson always talks shit about Corvette, but everytime he drives one he falls in love with it 🤣 it's like they made Jeremy's ultimate car: enormous, rude, bulbous, shouty, cheap but extremely fast and powerful.

You see, there's a *_reason_* the Kentucky production line workers can do this, Jeremy. It's called the Appalachian mountain chain. Your interstates are for getting across the Annoyingly Flat parts as quickly as possible so you can get back to *_driving_* which is the summation of American driving requirements. When you wonder about American build, think of our terrain issues. Seriously!
It would be great to see this done again with the Demon, the modern Cadillac V, and the new C8 Z06. So much nostalgia every time I see this episode though.
I have an ‘08 SRT8 challenger; I can tell you with full confidence it has the most numb steering of all 300+ cars I’ve ever owned.

Why would they bring him back, to punch another producer? The BBC made the only decision they can make, and Top Gear failing should be put solely on Clarkson's shoulders.
The 3 of them are making more money and having more fun doing Grand Tour than they did on Top Gear. Why would they even want to come back?
It's terrifying to think that it's been almost a decade since that fiasco, it feels like it was just the other day...

Corvettes are great driving around in. They handle really well. They are comfortable etc. And when you want it, they turn into savage animals with ridoculous power yet still manage to be very controlled.
The road they showed at 4:00 isn't where the filmed. They showed Carroll summit on highway 50 which is actually about 250 miles west of there. only 20 miles east of the shoetree that they were at earlier. (Sadly the original shoetree is cut down)

I can't believe I used to believe anything in this show was unscripted... "Okay right, so I'm going to park the Challenger just out of view. We should be able to get all the footage we need in about 90 seconds of being in traffic, no need to give local PD a heads up. Somebody spot for the camera crew swarming the street." "This will be more fun than when I drove casually into the bushes back there after my burnout launch..." "Later I'll drive slowly in a passing zone so the sedan can have a character arc." At least the throttle oversteer is real.

I bought a base model 2006 z51 corvette for $23,000 with 65k miles on it. Easily the best car I’ve ever owned. Arguably, maybe more fun than my ND1 Miata :X

Bring him back Please! He is the only person who made these cars so much better when he made fun of them! Top Gear will always be the Filet Mignon of Car shows. Everyone who owns a cts v loves them from what I have heard. Yes it is expensive, yes it is big but it is a good car.
The Challenger Hammond was driving didn't have key less entry or remote start meaning the only way the vehicle could have moved is if the key was in the ignition. The key fob in Hammond's hand(3:14) needs to be inserted into the ignition in order for the car to start let alone drive done the street. I love Top Gear but I don't think slandering the Challenger was the way to go on this one.
Oh ya It's like the system that Mercedes used .

Guys let's face it : As much as we enjoy Clarkson (and god, so do I) as an incredibly good and funny presenter. It is completely normal that he's been fired by his boss because he punched and insulted one of his coworkers. The only person you could blame for not being able to watch Top Gear anymore is Clarkson himself. The end.

I don't really get the hate on the cts v. It is a nice car inside, it has a lot of power, and you can carry 4 people. Of course it isn't necessary, neither is a ferrari, a p1, or any super car haha. The only time I have felt a little bias in their reviews.

C6 ZR1 IS THE BEST CORVETTE EVER.
Personally, I think the C6 Z06 Carbon edition is the best. It weighs 3,000lbs flat, has a power to weight ratio very close to the ZR1, since it weighs 300lbs less, and handles a little better with the shaved weight. Just slap a mild cam, cold air intake, long tube headers, and an x pipe and you'd have a 600hp plus rocket
