  • Making choices is one of my favourite parts of journaling. For me, collecting pieces of ephemera that I love or that interest me then making a choice to use a particular piece is so self-affirming. It’s really helped me connect with myself.

  • Meg I prefer this style of vid, if it means anything! You mentioned being aware of not getting a lot done and going on tangents, but don’t we do that without filming?? I much prefer having a buddy rather than music.

    • Glad to hear! 🥰 I’ll definitely keep a mix as voiceovers are better for tutorial style videos, or sometimes I just want to watch Real Housewives while journaling 🤣

    • @@megjournals Uhm, absolutely!!! I will say though if I’m just sitting down to watch a vid and do nothing else, a quicker one with voiceover is what I go for. Obvs gonna watch your videos when they pop up either way 🤣 You are about the only papery related creator that I haven’t fallen off of over the years. Most come and go with the seasons or my hobby focus. I just appreciate your content either way☺️

  • Watching while I am having my morning coffee, I love this fold out. I have been following along with you on projects since the new year, and started my own projects. I now have 2 altered books completed, I just started collaging in a sketch book which has black pages because I really like the idea of doing some neons and brights. I am also apparently on a book obsessed year and have been reading a few books at a time so I am going to make myself some book marks. Thanks fo the reccomendation on the paint markers, I am going to go check out The Works near me and see if they have any.

  • O thank you Meg. It is a joy to watch you create in real time. So soothing, logical and beautiful. Your work inspired my very first venture in junk journalling...and I will always remain a huge fan as I continue my journey. Sincere thanks for what you do for all of us - best wishes, Kate from Australia @thejournalnest 😃❤❤

  • I found the Mu stickers that you recommended. They are so wonderful. I tore my craft room apart even more. It’s so bad, but I am making progress. Today I’m working on lace, trims and ribbons. Then die cuts and then paper. Omg. There is so so much paper. It’s all out of control. HELP! Another great video. Love this journal. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

  • Interesting to se how someone else works. I always lay my things out befor I glue it down. Probably because I have so big problems with deciding. The god thing is that it is alot easier to work in layers and change the size on diffrent items.
