Crowe was a crock of shite though. There are plenty of decent drama school alumni that are decent actors with better bari/bass voices.

There are waves of humor that leave you rolling in the aisles. Then...as you settle in to listen, his voice grabs you by the throat and leaves you gasping for breath. He is that good. • Wow! He IS classically trained. He understands very clearly how much more support you need to sing a high note pianissimo, than to sing it loudly! And, the amount of buzz he has when he goes for it! He honestly reminds me of Mario Lanza! To put it in soprano terms, he has Caballe's high pianissimo AND Callas's squillo! Bravo, sir! An absolute pleasure to listen to you!

    @pointofnoreturn3103@pointofnoreturn31032 жыл бұрын

      @Ignasimp@Ignasimp2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Ignasimp I suppose it would be a question of how much weight he has to his tone, as well as overall size. In truth, I'm not a guru of determining facher. To be totally honest, I haven't determined my own fach. The only thing I can tell you is that coloratura agility has come FAR easier than legato! In the end, I am a Susan kind of soprano! Lol!

    • @@pointofnoreturn3103 My whole point though is that he has no real chestvoice. He sings with fake clarity and sounds like modern tenors (and that is not a good thing). Real classical singing sounds nothing like this.

  • Could a man sing this without passion...impossible and this rendition shows how that emotion can be expressed so beautifully...just look at those tears in his eyes....

  • My boss in the ad agency where I was a media manager was looking for an idea for our clients Christmas drink I wanted to just go for a meal in a swanky London restaurant but she told me that she had booked the best box in the Cambridge theatre London. I was not sure that I would like les miserables but I think that it was the best experience I have ever had in a theatre. I used to study drama so it had lots of competition but even now watching this the hairs on my next stand up Bravo!!!

  • The first time i saw this powerful show, tears streamed down my face as this was sung. You could have heard a pin drop through the hall. I slowly looked sideways to those seated near me-- tears everywhere. Such a beautiful and moving song. Bravo to all-- Mr Schonberg, Mr Boe, all in the orchestra 🏆🎵👏
