You did a nice job styling your console table. The only thing I would change is the books leaned against the lamp. For some reason, to me, it looks a bit sloppy, but it's your home and if you like it, thats what matters. 👍

So happy to see a console table with practical storage! So many choose to style and decorate a console table with a basket that contains a blanket and or pillow. When would you ever need such items in an entry or a hallway?!?!

Awesome Video!!! Great Inspiration!!!! It was amazing changing the clay bowl to the square rattan box made a "big" different to the total look of the decoration on the console table!!! Great advice!!! You can use painting on furniture instead of handing on the wall!!!! I will try this technique for my living room!!! God Bless!!!

Hi Tasha …I love when you show up on my feed.That console is beautiful and very unique and so glad it was gifted to you. Did you go to design school? You would make a great interior designer. I love what you did with all your thrifted finds. I like the new candleholders. You have a really good eye for what goes together. I told my niece about sets of three and always doing odd numbers if you want to do several things. She was amazed how much better everything looked. Your cat is precious. My neighbor has many cats, but one chose to live at our place. I thought our very spoiled cat would be very mad and he was at first. The new kitty is a beautiful cat and I have never seen a cat marked like him. He is white with these weird brownish splotches..that is how I would describe them and he has beautiful green eyes. Our kitty always comes first though and the new kitty is an outdoor only kitty. Thanks Tasha I always enjoy your videos. I am amazed you put that console together. My husband knows I don’t like to look at directions and he teases me about it all the time. Have a great week. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Rita! It's always nice to read friendly comments especially amid some not that aren't very positive. 😊 I am not trained in design but I'm very much enjoying learning. I turned my attention to educating myself in design a couple years ago and delved into reading and watching pros and have learned so much. Your new adopted kitty sounds lovely! They are such cool creatures in general. Nothing better than when they come and bump their forehead on you and brush against your leg to be petted ☺️ As for putting the console together it did take a while but I don't mind the work as long as I can comprehend the instructions and these were very clear which I appreciated! Is it Tuesday? Yes. Is it 9am? Also, yes! I was looking at Nathan James for our counter stools. We were gifted another set, but it got me going down the Nathan James rabbit hole and I like a lot of his designs. Your console looks lovely, I do like the balance the basket brought. Each could also be used as nightstands - well I guess depending on the height. We've moved to a new town this week - more country than city/suburban. Hopefully, I'll have better luck finding thrift treasures - one at a time. Happy Tasha Tuesday, all! P.S. I also very much appreciated the individual packaging and labeling of the pieces!

I'm very happy with the quality of this two-part console table. It's so sturdy and does not have a cheap feel to it at all which is fantastic.
Hi Tasha. Loved what you did with thr console. Very balanced and pretty. Here's a crazy suggestion for you. Leave a door off of one of the cabinets and your cat could have a bed. Kidding of course but loved her exploring.

I style according to wall height, so where the greenery is, it’s actually lower than the lamp, raise up the greenery so that it’s visibly taller than the lamp, it gives a more natural organic scene.
I do think the greenery being taller would be nice 🙂
I like it except books against the lamp….
There is no right or wrong if you’re a designer or not it should be what makes you happy and things that you like. I think people are so stupid to think they have to follow a trend or style it’s so stupid and ridiculous. People need to think for themselves and not follow others. I personally don’t need advice or want advice on how I should style my own home.
I understand. The tips about placement and height I described can be applied to any style at all, not just similar decor to mine. 😊
I agree. All the advice you get ends up confusing you! You know what you like and the colors and decor objects that appeal to you.
