In a city full of bright, white and modern boxes, Constanza Collarte wanted something with a bit more story to it. Enter this 1930’s Spanish Mediterranean style home in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood surrounded by romantic and lush gardens. Following a renovation to modernize the layout and lighten the space, the interior designer created soft, minimal, and slightly rustic interiors - the perfect backdrop for the young family of five!

Yes please!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her comment about stop copying what everyone else is doing and be true to yourself in your decor aesthetic. YES, QUEEN. I couldn't agree more.👑
Her home is a reflection of herself. The way she spoke and was dressed too, calm, relaxed and beautiful. I love it!!!
Gorgeous home. Love her design philosophy and talking about soul. ❤
As a Miamian, I get that she was looking for authenticity which is becoming more rare in this city. Beautifully done!
The esthetic’s design of Ms. Collate is minimalist but very elegant.
First time I've watched one of your videos, and I actually enjoyed it! Your home is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Very classy and somehow both lush and very restrained. I admire her use of textures while keeping everything modern and up-to-date within the confines of a traditional home.
I absolutely love this home
This is a stunning house and she has beautiful taste. I love the colour palette/ style and agree with her philosophy. I feel inspired to make some changes in my home. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and subscribing!
That home speaks comfort and ease everywhere. It is like a retreat for those who live there. Lovely doors giving access to the green surroundings of Coconut Grove, calming and invigorating.
Lovely and I really enjoyed her approach to home design. On one hand I share the feeling of wanting the tour to be longer…yet on the other hand I like how concise the tour is…it feels like the people sharing love what they do yet there is an art to keeping the composition under 10 minutes. Like I tell my kids “sometimes you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit”. Thanks for sharing this home and her design story was beautiful! ❤
Her philosophy on creating a home is spot on. Professional design and principles should help you express your home the way you want it - not just feel pressured into trends or something expensive but doesn't suit you. Nothing worse than celebrity homes that are expensive but have no personality or expression of the people in it. This home is beautifully done - the colors are a little muted for my taste, but the pieces and arrangement and overall balance make it graceful and tasteful. Love the chairs in the sitting area - and also love the pool area - all of it flows smoothly without being overdone - and liveable for a family.
Exquisite home! And what a beautiful family! I used to live in Coconut Grove and miss it so much

Yes, please make the videos a little longer, I feel like each tour is just way too short. Every tour is very well made and I just hope the upcoming home tours can be longer in length with the same quality of Schumacher. Thanks ❤

Thank you!
Way too short a video :(
She’s got that “Miami” accent.
So, you listened to your own voice?
Sometimes less is more… her home is cluttered with shelf items that has no purpose….Makes the Home look Tiny… Too much Furniture and Coffee Tables everywhere,, WHY ?. As an Interior Designer i give Her 3 / 10.
Beautiful ❤
