The Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness Area (Bisti Badlands) in New Mexico has some of the most unusual rock formations in the United States. Including the Bisti Wings, Brown Hoodoos, Manta Ray Wing, Alien Egg Hatchery, and Standing Cranes.
Lol pushing it over to prevent a disaster. What a defense haha
I am impressed with how many interesting natural sites involve columnar basalt. I have been fascinated with these geological formations since I was 12 and my dad explained what they were and how they formed.
Love this. Very cool.

One reason I love this channel so much is that it's not only fascinating and informative, but has a real Human narrating it. I boycott any channel that uses robo-narrators.
Who is the narrator I hear him everywhere
@@ThePickleSlicerit reminds me of the game Mass Effect 2 and the narrator in the menus
this is AI 🤣
@@ThePickleSlicerHis name is Chris Kane and he is awesome!
Amazingly, at the bottom of the hexagonal basalt columns of the Giants' Causeway it's just sand, if the similar formations in eastern Washington state are any indicator (not sure about the ones that the water actually crashes against).
Yet another video about unusual rock formations without a mention of Zumaia Flysch (Spain). I give up! Some of the ones that made the cut pale in comparison... but, oh well. Just keep doing your videos about the same ones over and over again.
Millions of years. Haha
Paint brush of god? I think not, Mother Nature at work! Leave your puny god out of this majesty!
