It's probably already been said, but I feel the need to explain something that is complex but do it in a simple way. I am a retired 79 year old singer/performer/vocal coach, and I've never heard anything like Dimash. In a nutshell: Dimash was a child prodigy who had perfect pitch at age 2, began vocal & piano training at age 5, first performed at age 6, graduated from a Performing Arts High School at age 15, finished his BA in Classical Voice at age 22, and now has an MA in Music Composition and is in the PhD program. He was offered to join The Kazakhstan National Opera at age 22, but decided to pursue a career in "Neoclassical" music which mixes opera, pop, rock, R & B, and Kazakh folk It is labelefld "Popera" for the blending of genres. He has an amazing 6 octave vocal range with near perfect tone and technique in them all. He has over 10 million fan club members. Like I said, it is too complex for a short explanation. Dimash is the true baritone, true tenor, true countertenor, and true female soprano. He is so chill and relaxed on D6 and E6 sustain note and even added vibrato to it. Even many female sopranos cannot sing that high and sustain it well like he does. Dang! And that low deep chest voice is so grounded, so much weight in it.

Please remember that he needs to hold back on his voice to protect it. He gives very long concerts: over 2 hours of mostly nonstop singing. He needs to have quieter passages and some poppy songs to give him a little break in the vocal strain. It's also good for story momentum. To be worthy of the Olympics, this song needed to pound along full-force the whole time. Igor Krutoy wrote this for Dimash, so you're right that it's made for him. The Italian Director who wrote the theme for "Across Endless Dimensions" also wrote it specifically for Dimash. He hired three singers to make a demo tape to send Dimash.

what Asia is sayin is.. when someone sings with their WHOLE BODY, it's very different than from someone who sings with just their throat in chest voice. the tightening of your diaphragm, opening the back of your throat, the coordination of how to hit the notes, whether you're in chest or head voice. the accuracy in placing your voice so you sing in the pocket when mixing your voice (to prevent the voice from cracking). the relaxation and knowing how much air to put for the higher notes.

We understand! Many of us have been watching Dimash since 2017 and many of us attended his New York Barclay's sold out concert. No one in the world like him and never think he is on top of his game because he continues to study, practice, take voice lessons, etc to get better. He is currently working on his doctorate while working non stop. Love of Tired Swans from the Kremlin is beautiful as well.

I love you guys! Your reaction commentary comes from the heart! I'd like you to react to a Dimash song called "Know" from 2019 Sochi New wave. Also, there is another Celine Dion Cover he did called "All by Myself" from 2017 "Singer" competition in China. It's a must-see video. And there's a song he wrote when he was 17 called "Unforgettable Day". You should watch the version from the 2017 "Singer" competition first but there are other versions where he changes it up. Really, you should check out all of his 2017 Chinese "Singer" performances. This show made him famous in China and introduced him to the world. There are 13 performances from that show and most of those are covers (rules say you can only do one original song). The Singer show is a competition for singing professionals in China who are already famous so it's not like American Idol or shows like that. And it's cool cuz every performance has a live band. Asia you are definitely a dear. Dimash was taught by the best and he continuously practices no mater where he is. he was found to have perfect pitch when he was 5 years old. He never lost that childhood change of voice during puberty, & he continues to perfect it. When he went to meet with the orchestra conductor when he first did this song. the Conductor asked him & Igor who was going to sing the other voices in this time, Dimash said" I am" and the conductor looked at him puzzled, Igor just smiled. the conductor had no idea Dimash's vocal range". This was done before an audience of about 60,000 at the Beginning flag ceremony at Belarus for the Olympic Games. It was our first time seeing Dimash in that type of setting, it didn't work out well, because they did not show Dimash much, they should have done a split screen with Dimash & the orchestra, he was sharp in his teal blue suit with cold accessories that was trimmed in gold that looked like a gold medal around his neck, he looked so good. he has worn the suit a couple times since then, although he wears other teal color suits. his mom is an Opera Singer & Dad is a Singer songwriter, grandma & grandfather are all musical

Dimash loves the D and E6 to sing, naturally, it´s like breakfest for his vocal cords. Asked if he can sing higher than the D8 (Gakku performance) he answered, I think so. He´s not only the best male singer in the world, he´s a wonderful human too, a vocalist ("star") you can follow without regretting it later and some people (women especially) even fell in love with him! For all singers, don´t be discouraged. Dimash is a hard worker and you can learn from him how to sing.
