I've been searching for videos on making large junk journals and yours has me hooked I feel like I can make this with less stress than other videos I have seen. I'm a newbie to junk journaling. Thank you your teaching, I really do appreciate you. Blessings.

  • I love this whole process, so much so that I will be making a tome myself! As you say, we all learn from each other and that’s why I follow so many channels 😊. One thing I do when using modelling paste and then wanting to gild/paint over, I simply replace, or reposition the stencil over the dry modelling paste and then paint or gild over, very carefully of course but I don’t have to worry about being too precise because the stencil is protecting my image somewhat...if this makes sense? 😊

Then I will paint over that to give it a textured look. In the middle with the Tyvek tape, I do not think that the paint will stick properly like you said, so do you have any suggestions on what I can put over the Tyvek tape before I glue the guys on? I hope that makes sense lol.

Maybe they sent the wrong bottle? Here is the Magna-tac description from Beacon: Permanent adhesive , Fast bond for most fabrics, leather, felts, trims and more , Ideal for crafts & hobbies, home decor and quick repairs , Crystal clear, quick drying and washable. Acid freeClear, fast drying, permanent & washable for many household & hobby applications. • Bonds a wide variety of materials including lace, felt, fabrics, feathers, wood, trims, canvas, ribbons, leather, suede, & much more. • Prevents fabrics from fraying and is ideal for seams, hems, drapes, cushions, upholstery, dried floral arrangements, lampshades, bridal veils & accessories, picture frames, hats, etc. • Original formula since 1956 won't stain or soak into most fabrics & is great for creating costumes, dolls, stuffed toys as well as general household repairs.

  • Had trouble locating those tea towels. What department of Walmart are they in

    • I got mine from Amazon. I couldn't find them in my local stores, and other fabric options were just too expensive. The package I bought online will make quite a few covers.

    • I found them in the kitchen department near the utensils on the bottom shelf in packs of 5 or ten. They are called flour sack towels. Its possible they are a seasonal item?

  • Тоже хочу похожее сделать. Некогда. Пишу картины на бересте и другое делаю. И это хочу попробовать.
