I remember watching through video after video of this series and its the reason i got into your content and i am super stoked to have it back.
My favorite start to Serve As A Soldier was always to pick my home village and wait for the first lord to come by recruiting. Made for an interesting story when that lord was from another faction. Always happy to see this mod pop up 😄

Eagles of the Empire is the book series. Propably one of the best books out there from that time!!! 🤩
Agreed I'm from Belgium and I speak french but only the 3 first books were translated. So I tried to read the rest in english, it was the first time I read an entire book in an other language, and now I'm reading the 19 👍

I am 8 mins in and i absolutely love the separate infantry cohorts i wish different factions and lords did different strategies for more in depth battles like all the men staying in formation in this mod was satisfying man the base game needs so much
You should have chosen the 2nd Augusta Legion tbh. Great book series btw. I'm a sucker for books portraying that time period anyways, so I might have read a couple of them or and any other books around the same time. Can't wait to see what else you got in store for this series!

Am glad there has been changes and updates. I got tired playing the same vanilla map for eagle rising. I havent been caught up due to issues with the files with the mods sometimes not wanting to work and or its the right version sometimes it gets annoying trying to get them to work correctly

Jackie, Macro doesn't get married until he's a senior centurion ( in charge of his own cohort ) so hold off getting married until you reach that rank. Also he trains every day, he says every day is a bloodless battle and every battle is training with blood. For the glory of Rome! 🦅⚔️🦅

if you're gonna be macro, you're gonna have to recruit a little cato to train up besides you when you have your own army!
at tier 6 I think we get a little warband to follow us, so Cato will be there for sure!

I wish we had this in the base game the roman legion look is just amazing to me i would pay for a dlc if this was it honestly but the game needs so much quality of life improvements first. Serve as a soldier is definitely something ive always wanted to but you can still role play it the base game just not the same tho.

At 8:30 No a paysant rebellion but more a slave rebellion, worker are mostly slave rom the end of the republic to the empire. Depend of the years but regulary around 40% of the population were slaves. thx for you vid.

So to play as a soldier you need the "Serve as a soldier" mod. I just started playing it today with the eagle rising mod and it feels amazing to be part of the legion. There is also a mod that changes the music in game - to the music from the Total War games, so now my game really feels like an amazing Roman legionary simulator. Quick side note about the serve as a soldier mod, the current version crashes after siege battles. But on the Eagle Rising discord server someone made a working version. It is pinned in one of their channels.

How to serve your overlord because this mod is not working correctly. Could you send me link which version is suits new patch ? I always play this mod but i have been not played since almost 6 months. Every uptade it would be broken
This game is impossible on the Xbox but PCs are too expensive
it really isnt impossible, I started playing it on xbox one too it could get tricky at the start ofc but you will eventually get the hang of it, I bought a pc too not for bannerlord but in general, and the only difference i would say are just mods and controls, but u can get a keyboard and mouse for ur xbox if its that bad for u in controller
There should be the 2 Augusta’s sigil in the clan sigil mod. And the Leginonarius Tiro is not an noble troop the evocati are the noble line
