yes it does, you might not be able to feel the difference if you are using a laptop, since its right there, but it is a shorter distance for the waves that are being transmitted from the mouse, and are received by the dongle. you are right though, the stuttering, which is caused by obstacles (ex. your desk) interfering or blocking the signal, gets reduced when the dongle is right in front of your mouse. the only time you would feel a delay, which is on the g pro wireless/ g pro superlights' product page, is around a 2 meters wirelessly

If I’m not wrong, Logitech and razer’s light speed and hyper speed tech respectively, is faster then a wire in terms of latency IF used at its max potential, meaning theoretically your increasing the latency doing this since now ignoring the latency from the mouse to the receiver since that’s a constant, you’ve just added latency thru the wire rather then just straight to the usb bus This is really just me being a bit of a smart ass, because I get that it could potentially decrease interference, and increase signal integrity, but that’s not what’s being represented here

That is not a receiver. It is an adapter so you can keep your receiver closer to ur mouse. The idea is because wifi/microwave/bluetooth/your garbage "smart lights and zigbees" all use 2.4ghz band you will have wireless interference thus sometimes having slight connectivity issues/interference. Especially if youre connect with wifi using 2.4ghz. the idea of the dongle is to bring your receiver as close to your mouse thus hopefully minimizing the interference from your useless "smart home lights" and reducing the chance of you throwing the mouse in the wall. Pay attention reducing not eliminating the chances.

I’m interested in buying a Logitech g pro x superlight. One question I wanted to ask is how do you charge the mouse after the 70hrs of battery life?
U use the charging cable in the box for the receiver and if ur battery is running low u just plug the cable in your mouse so it is wired connected to ur pc till it is fully charged
lasts so long of life man
Charge when not using.
G pro x is overrated
@@simply_m390 doesn’t mean it’s a bad mouse. It’s got a shape that supports most grip styles, has pretty good stock feet, good switches and scroll wheel, you get good click feedback from most of the surface area on the left and right clicks, unholy battery life, etc. The only quarrels I have is not having usb c charging, but Logitech said micro usb is a lighter design so it works I guess. You could say it’s overrated but it did raise the standard in the wireless lightweight gaming mice industry.
This has nothing to do with latency. All it solves is connection issues if the dongle is too far away.
If I’m not wrong, Logitech and razer’s light speed and hyper speed tech respectively, is faster then a wire in terms of latency IF used at its max potential, meaning theoretically your increasing the latency doing this since now ignoring the latency from the mouse to the receiver since that’s a constant, you’ve just added latency thru the wire rather then just straight to the usb bus This is really just me being a bit of a smart ass, because I get that it could potentially decrease interference, and increase signal integrity, but that’s not what’s being represented here
i mean also if you are close to your pc ( like most people have them on their desk even) then it dosent have any impact at all even if it strenghens the connection edit: only real impact it has is that you can charge the mouse faster because you have the wire close to the mosue
i aint reading allat😮😮😮
Its for if your pc locates far it helps to close the distance but i am using the same way because when i run out of battery it is in my reach
I just got the mouse was trying to find how to change the DPI and came across this W video
this has no connection to how to change ur dpi, dont know if ur just dumb or what
@@vampirised I mean first of all bro I wouldn’t run around calling people dumb on the internet it’s just not very nice thing to do I’m not sure if you have had a bad day or something but it’s not fair to take stuff out on other people especially when you don’t know there scenarios etc but it just popped up I typed in how to change dpi on Logitech g pro and it came up as a short and I watched it but just try refrain from commenting negative stuff bro it’s super unnecessary and just not needed I was just trying to thank the guy who made the video didn’t need you to comment calling me dumb just not needed or nice you just need to think bro before sending messages I am a real person who your replying to with the same problems/feelings etc you have it’s not needed
@@tavenuk Holy. My dyslexic ass got slapped around by the lack of dots.
How do you get the left side buttons?
How do you doing lightning in the mous?
I've had a similar issue with the MX master series. This wire is not for latency, it's for connection issues (tearing, etc.) What this does is makes sure there's no RF interference from your laptop, and there's no metal in the way of the connection.
How'd you solve your issue on your mx mouse?
@@horts88 I went on Amazon and bought a good quality usb extension cable, and then plugged it in through there. Still some interference sometimes, but WAY less. Make sure to put the end of the extension cable far from any metal.
can you buy the receiver apart? I lost mine yikes
This does literally nothing unless you are having connection issues, the latency from the cable distance is so minimal you couldn't even pick it up with the most advanced testing gear. Its in the order of nanoseconds, not even milliseconds.
You’re correct, a foot is literally a light-nanosecond
Lmao that receiver is not for latency. They included that so you have to place the usb near your mouse for the most optimal signal and it avoids having delays or signal issues.
Thank you!!
How do I charge my Logitech g pro x superlight?
Wow! thanks for telling me how too use the simplistic product in my computer setup, what ever would I have done without this ........
Also works with glourius model o wireless
so is it the same thing the g703?
I had an issues that my wifi connection from my phone fucked up mouse and lagged if it were too near. But this wont do anything if you dont have any connecting issues whit mouse.
Adding the wire to the signal chain actually increases latency but go off I guess. It literally just exists as an extension if your setup is too far away.
This doesn’t do anything at all if your on laptop. This is only good if your PC is far away from your mouse and keyboard, use this if it stutters. (Also it doesn’t change latency or anything at all)
or if you have a keyboard with an usb passthrough, use it
my man here has the predator helios 300 nice
Its not a helios 300💀
He is wrong about the low latency but this did actually help the issues with my mouse stuttering a lot , so anyways thanks 🙏
Are you using an adapter for wireless wifi for your PC? Because there should be something that interferes with your mouse adapter.
Yeah there will be no improvement. This is more useful for people who need the receiver closer for range reasons. It’s also useful for people with limited usb ports. You can have the dongle and charger all in one. I always used it for that reason.
mine is gone T.T never faced a problem before, but recently it takes forever to connect to pc and the connectivity just gone if i didnt move the mouse for sometimes
Bro I’m trying to get rid of wires 😭
how to the left handed side button up for you, i just got mine and they aren’t clicking someone please help
it's an adaptor not a receiver, using the adaptor closer to the mouse it does fix some stuttering issues tho so helpful tip, just explained wrong
If anything this could increase latency you want as little between the source of the signal and what what it’s plugging into so the dongle should ALMOST ALWAYS be plugged directly into your laptop/desktop usb port
It doesn't work like that... the extension is so you don't get it stuck...
its for if your pc is far from your mouse. if youre gonna keep it this close just get a wired mouse
That’s not how latency really works but ok. Also a quick note, that wire is built for desktops so you can store the wire on top of your desk to charge the mouse.
there is a delay when you are a fair distance from the dongle, like 2 meters or 6 feet
Signal from the mouse is traveling at the speed of light and it doesn't make a difference if it travels 50cm more. I'd say it's only theoretically measurable difference (and it's still sooo smoooool- maybe 0.0000001 sec)
And we don't even have games which gets affected by that difference
Does it works on g305?
so now i have a wired mouse!
What latency means?
Not ideal for laptops though also if your pc is next to your mouse like it should be your fine use the extension elsewhere on something it's good for or if your using a media pc then it's good to move the reciever to the couch instead of across the living room
I forgot the thing even came with a reggie dongle
i tested this and averaged a lower report rate compared to lightspeed. this isn't worth it unless your pc is far from your mouse
as a g pro superlight owner, this is 100% true
idk if u are joking?
@@traxikkI am not joking
@@traxikkor am I
This is for any of the lightspeed wireless devices
No opposite ig makes it slower
I use this mouse and it doesn’t make any difference whatsoever it only helps the receiver being closer to the mouse in case you’re pc is kinda far and that’s why I use it. Still good vid 👍🏼
Is it work in ps5 too?
Just plug the mini receiver into your 240 Hz gaming monitor and you'll be fine. It doesn't need to be 5-10 cm away from your mouse, but there should not be any metal or wood in between your mouse and the receiver.
yeah imma just plug my mouse into my monitor
I was wondering why my mouse felt so slow and stutters this fixed that for me Ty!!!!!
So you turn a wireless mouse into a part wireless part wired mouse
thank you so much, I thought my mouse had something wrong with it because of the stuttering, but now it’s all fixed :)
Bro no entendí en español pls, acabo de comprar uno
@@santiagopaolocenturion6364bro cómo es posible El video dura 15 segundos Mono conectar cable Mono conectar cable con usb Amego checate
tricks on you. i plug the mini receiver in the back of my keyboard right near my mouse
But doesn’t connecting another dongle increase latency 😂
No are u brain dead it's the 2.5ghz dongle
Why won’t it turn in like it’s dead when I plug it in?
same thing going on with me did you ever figure it out
thank you bro my asss thought it was a charger for it lmaoooo
doesnt have anything to do with latency but significantly improve connection stability, I suffered and learned this the hard way while playing competitive overwatch :(
Bought to cop this mouse thanks
I wish I could do that but my wire broke 😢
Big question there i have the razer viper ultimate with the charging dock and when i only put the small usb thing in it the mouse works perfectly fine in wireless mode but if i put the little usb thing in the charging dock and put the normal wire which is there in my laptop the mouse randomly starts to not work does anyone know what to do there
When i buyed it I pluged it to pc, then after few months i pluged it like it says in this video but every 10 minutes my mouse disconects, can anyone help plzz
what is the name where can i buy this mine didnt came with that
Dude thanks , thia fixed my mouse trash responsiveness
Lmaoo thanks for the comments explaining how it actually meant to be used 👍
Ps5 work ?
It’s like .02 ms latency, it’s REALLY MOT WORTH IT just plug it into ur pc
it just makes the mouse closer to the receiver
im so confused i just got the new mouse and i dont know how to charge it
its not a reciver, just a female micro B to female usb A adapter.
this doesn't even affect me at all lol, plus you can just use a usb extension cable, and I use lightspeed wireless.
Unless your laptop is 3 walls away, this doesnt help.
nah this is wired wireless mouse 💀
i never knew about this and i've had the mouse for a year
Having it so close it's literally like using a wired mouse. But the latency still will be an issue
Logitech light speed has some of, if not the lowest latency of any wireless mice. It has lower latency than some wired mice. I have the super light version of this mouse and the wired latency is 2.5ms and the wireless latency is 3.1ms. .6 ms isn't humanly perceptible.
This doesn't lower latency, stop spreading false rumour, although is useful to charge easily the mouse
pov: the only reason you got a wireless mouse is to declutter your desk,
Got a wirless keyboard mouse just for razer to want to basically kill my mouse then reboot it dame with the keyboard it's so lame what's the point
i lost the receiver lol
Latency is not the same thing as Polling Rate.
real helpful bro
It doesn’t help with latency as pointed out by people smarter than me but it does improve stuttering It also kinda defeats the point of having a wireless mouse with the cable being there in front of it. If you’re that concerned about latency then just plug it in More realistically you’re gonna be having that thing hidden somewhere behind your monitor so it doesn’t look that bad and still get good signals
Reading the manual correctly challenge (failed)
Ok but how do i charge my mouse
ngl man i just got this mouse today and this is the first video i saw before i started using it thanks man
The only use of the extension is if without it, your signal get blocked somehow. Other wise it does not matter if you are 4 inches or 20 feet from it. “TheRe Is a DiFfeReNcE” no buddy there is not. Your computer does not even have the capability to detect that. By the time a new frame is shown, you have received a new signal since the last frame thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of times.
