BOOK A TRIP TO PANAMA WITH ME JANUARY OR MAY 2024:
Send an email to sales@losbuzos.com for info
In this episode we're deep sea kayak fishing, and as soon as we arrive at the spot, we begin seeing sailfish and marlin on the surface. I throw out a huge live tuna as bait to see if I can entice a giant fish, and before long, my kayak is being towed at an uncomfortably fast pace!
COMMENT and tell me your favorite part of the vid! What species would you want to catch most down in Panama?

  • Wanted to get in early on the comments after taking a trip with Robert at Los Buzos a few weeks ago. Despite challenging conditions, Robert helped make the right calls that put our group on fish, helping us land roosters, almaco jacks, bluefin trevallies, and ton more fish, all on artificial because the live bait bite was just dead. It was really touch and go for a while, but it all came together in the end, and I couldn't say enough great things about him as a guide, angler, teacher, or human being. Hopefully next time I won't argue with the live Robert because of what I thought I learned watching his videos (do yourself a favour and ASK for the pointers and don't argue until later, you'll be thankful) :p Thanks for making a once in a lifetime experience, hope I can build up the brownie points to head down again for a trip with you in a year or two :)

  • Hi Robert I currently use a Revolution 13 have you had any experience with these or is it Outback all the way?

    @dylanhudson4665@dylanhudson46655 ай бұрын
    • The revolution is faster, but it’s much less stable. You’ll need to be careful when fighting big fish and just always stay focused in general. But it’s a solid boat.

    • Some people use the outriggers Hobie makes to add stability. But they can get in the way when fighting/landing fish in my experience.

  • Was that a Margate the dude from Jersey caught???? Hey Robert why not actual little pit gaffs instead of the mini harpoons?? Love these vids man and someday if i can ever find a relief capt that will actually show up i will make it down there, looks so epic i would come just for the food!!!! There is no better bait in the world for big fish than a 5 to 10lb Bonita. All the guys here (Keys) think Lobster is the only Cubera bait and night time only. We catch more than the fleet and always on live Bonitas and during the day. They catch everything!!!! That shark was psycho
