wouldnt it just be better without the pauses on every single hit/block? It makes the games kinda hard to watch and probably to play aswell

It's actually the opposite regarding the play. Because it has so much shit in it, the hitstop helps the players discern the shitfest on the screen. Now how it looks is a different topic, but it helps when you're playing because you have so many things to pay attention to.

I gotta agree that the stops make it easier to play probably, because as said way too much is happening on the screen. It just feels weirdly slow to watch (/different from the fg I'm used to), playing is a different experience after all. I'm excited for the game regardless.

It's very clear this isn't legit "HIGH LEVEL" since none of the people he played against have any idea of what they are really doing. Plus people like Sonic has already had more hands on time due to being invited to play a previous build of the game. The High level in the title is click bait if we are being honest.

I assume you mean a 1v1 fighter? That just wouldn't work with the League IP. Tons of characters wouldn't be able to make the cut like they would in a tag. If you mean just the artstyle, then this is purely due to what is the most performant. Play any ArcSys title and compare it to MK, Tekken or SF and compare the frames you can get. Riot wants as many people to play the game as possible so they make the minimum requirement a potato.

IMHO based on riot's track record, they'll choose an art style where even potato PC's can play. If they stuck w/ the 3D design they initially showed, most potato PC's would get baked. But that's just my opinion and I'm not 100% sure that's what OP meant
